Erling Haaland's Ultimate Team

What does the best striker in the world get up to when he’s not winning Trebles and scoring past Man United? He plays Ultimate Team of course. We know he loves a bit of Minecraft too but we’ll just focus on his Ultimate Team today. When the Dynasties Promo dropped on Friday he was quick to make changes to his team which meant benching a 10,000,000 coin card! He sets up in a 4-2-2-2 with some very tidy players!

Goalkeeper - Ederson Moraes

He kept it simple in goal and went for his Manchester City teammate in Ederson. The Brazilian shot stopper has been very reliable in real life this season, let’s just hope he’s keeping the goals out in game too.

Right Back - Kyle Walker

Right back seems a fairly obvious choice, Kyle Walker earns himself a spot in the team as he’s yet again one of the best RBs in the game. We can’t call him a rat for this as he genuinely needs Walks for Chemistry!.

Centre Back - Virgil van Dijk

It should come as no shock to anyone that van Dijk is in here, he’s in 99% of teams this year! There's a good reason for that as he’s impossible to get past. Don’t worry, Haaland doesn’t earn all this money just to rock a rare gold team, we promise it gets a lot better!

Centre Back - Eder Militao

This is the final base gold in his defence as we’ll round off the back four with an Icon. Just like VVD, Eder Militao is in nearly every team this year and has beaten plenty of special cards for his spot in the team.

Left Back - Roberto Carlos

Roberto Carlos is the first special card in Haaland’s team and comes in at a cost of 1.2m coins, a bit pricey for a full back but in comparison to his attack, this is pennies to him!

Defensive Midfield - Ruud Gullit 

Maybe the reason so little has been spent on the defence is because they’re rarely needed. His DM pairing is one that generations of players will have nightmares about. It’d be very surprising if these guys let more than one or two players past each game. On one side he’s using a first owner Ruud Gullit…

Defensive Midfield - Yaya Toure

And on the left side he’s using Manchester City legend, Yaya Toure. There’s still room to upgrade to the Triple Threat version, but we won’t knock him down for that! Is this the best DM pairing in FC 24? We certainly think so!

Attacking Midfield - Kylian Mbappe

Here’s where the real fun starts, Mbappe comes in at RAM although he is playing on 0 chemistry. His base stats are good enough, we can’t imagine this will affect him too, too much.

Attacking Midfield - Ronaldinho 

Nothing too much to say for his attacking midfielders, Ronaldinho is one of the best cards in the game and a wing pairing of him and Mbappe is more than frightening. Still not good enough though, he needs to upgrade to the Thunderstruck version!

Striker - Jonatan Braut-Brunes

This is where the team gets very interesting. Taking up this Right Striker slot used to be base R9, until the Dynasties Promo started and in came Erling’s cousin - Jonatan Braut-Brunes. Braut-Brunes has 99 strength, R9 only has 83, we know which one we’re taking.

Striker - Erling Haaland

It wouldn’t be Erling Haaland’s Ultimate Team without an Erling Haaland item. It’s a Dynasties pairing up top as he’s brought in his newly released 94 rated card. Hopefully we can see this upgraded for TOTY in just over a months time!
