FIFA 23 Crashing After Title Update #12

Title update 12 was released for FIFA 23 yesterday and is causing major issues for some players. After updating the game, some players were unable to relaunch without it crashing each time. Whilst the issue isn’t fixed, EA Sports have released a workaround - to delete your friends. 

Players should have logged in to an experience which in-game issues had been updated and fixed, however, it was the game itself that was a major issue. This has only been an issue for PlayStation 5 users, there have been no reports of any other consoles facing this problem. 

How Do I Fix This Issue?

Until EA Sports themselves fix the issue there are two things you can do. The first is to not install the update, this will allow you to launch the game but does limit you to offline modes only (kick off, career mode etc). The second option is to delete your friends. Well at least until the number of friends is less than 100. This was the fix suggested by EA Sports but there have been reports of players still unable to play even after doing this. 

Unfortunately, this is all we can do until EA fix it themselves. You’d hope soon enough as FUT Champions starts in just over 24 hours time!
