I played now 10 games
and the question now for me is: who is courtois? who is oblak?
But let me tell you somethin about him:
Awesome reflexes, his positioning is so great, diving is very ok (he is small but that will fool you, like oblak) and every oder stat is really great.
You think 10 (weekend league, thats the real place for me to test someone) games are early too judge but i played every goalkeeper that i used (de gea, oblak, yashin 91, courtois) but he had 2 clean sheets and not more than 2-3goals (ok, i lost 2 games 5-1 but it was not his fault because you can control the goalkeeper now in this fifa and i am very bad in it :D )
i played yashin 91, no good reflexes, dives are not good and over and over he was the worst keeper i have ever used
i played de gea, he is very great too! like casillas but i think better
i played oblak, ok the truth is he is very much like casillas BUT in my oppinion his reflexes and diving are a bit better than oblak
i played courtois, like yashin he is very bad but tall, this makes him ok... but nothing for me
should i say more? in field practice, you will see his awesome reflexes
1 vs 1 is also very good, he catches almost every ball you think he will catch and yeah, like de gea for me (as i said, he is a bit better)
distance shots can he catch also very well because his diving is like the x button on xbox in the game METAL GEAR SOLID 5
And almost every time he stands in the right position
Corners also very powerfull BUT like Oblak, he very often punches the ball away and i like it more if he catches the ball
Speed is ok! not a sonic the hedgehog but ok!
EA did a very good, cheap 91 goalkeeper with also a great card design

I was using De Gea normal card till this beast came out. I was afraid because of the lack of length. This card really surprise me and im happy i did this sbc. Problem is only that he is hard to link, there are not much good Spanish centre backs. I was Lucky that i had Untradable Campbell so i only must change my other centre back for Sergio Ramos.
- Quick reflexes
- In his trademarks stands that he is cautios by crossers. Didnt notice this.
- He is Quick of his line when a through ball comes through.
-Not much long shots goals, less as with De Gea for me.
-Not really expensive
-Hard to link
-He is untrabale
After doing this sbc for around 20k i decided its only fair that I play with him and find his pros and cons. He was very consistent in making saves that were oranged timed or normal shots but struggled against top corner green timed finesses, what's new. I've tried normal DDG, Lloris, Ederson, if Alisson, Neuer, Fahrmann, Courtois, Ter stegen ETC and he ranks up in the top 4 of keepers ive used. used with a basic goalie chem style. Used him on 10 chem in 17 Rivals games in div 3.
I would 100% recommend completing the sbc as you get good packs, the card you get is quality and he is so cheap.
- Handling - Held most crosses and shots, didn't parry much but when he did the ball would never land back at attackers as he would knock the ball out to a defender or out for a corner.
- Diving - Helped in positions were I needed to move my goalie to stop shots, was consistent in tipping oranged timed shots or normal shots around the post or over the bar for a corner.
- Positioning - Was never really caught out on 1v1s but he was also very good at positioning himself when the attackers shot from long distances
- Reflexes - was good enough although it wasn't great but helped to stop some goals.
- Kicking - When you get them right he can set away strikers and start counter attacks, he notched 1 assist
- Height - Him being 6'1 and with ea's logic is just not good enough, although most keepers can't, he really didn't save many green timed shots where i noticed with Fahrmann, neuer, ddg and courtois is they could at least catch a few but casillas struggled.
- Kicking - I said it was a pro but also he missed a few easy passes to fullbacks and mids of goal kicks.
When i purchased this Casillas i thought thank god i have a new permanent keeper for my flashback team but casillas has let me down so much. This is my first negattive review for any player ever in Fifa which is a shame
honestly i cant really think of many and im not trying to be harsh but i didnt see anything from him that made him stand out at all
his height is a MAJOR issue. he just cant reach any sort of driven or finesse shot which fifa 29 is based around with his height of 6"1 hes far too short for a keeper. i must have conceded around 30-40 goals at least in 17 games. I have used oother high rated keepers like Buffon who are miles better than Casillas unfortunately i just really cant recommend him

With the newly released flashback sbc, I can only assume people will be coming to check the reviews of this card thinking they're just about to throw him into another sbc but I'm here to tell you not to do that.
This card has one amazing stat that has forced me to include him in every team I've made since I've packed him, and that stat is SPEED.
This dude is a SPEED DEMON with 67 speed he is the 6th fastest keeper on FUT and boy does it show in game. He puts 50/50 balls in your favor as he gets to the striker before he even receives the ball. His speed also allows him to come out quick on corners punching or catching the ball before the attacker gets his head on it. (Although he has the "cautious with crosses" trait so you have to call him out yourself).
Apart from his speed, the rest of his card is great, with his reflexes, diving, handling, and positioning all being 98+ with a basic chem style. HIs only problems are his height and kicking. Although he is a bit short, you rarely notice it thanks to finesse shots being nerfed. His kicking is sometimes a problem, however. His short passing is actually excellent and he stays calm on the ball with his 70 composure ( a trait seen in only 8 other individual keepers.) However, his kicking is quite atrocious which is especially noticeable on goal kicks. So when I play, I just play the ball quickly to one of my wing backs by just rolling it, or I take advantage of his "GK long throw" trait and huck it to one of my wingers.
All-in-all, a great keeper and after playing 235 of my 415 games with him I expect him to stay in my squad even through TOTS.

Hi, if you have this idiot in your club, don't use him, you will regret doing him. Like the title already said, he is the WORST KEEPER I USED SO FAR.... I almost discarded him, bc he was very trash. Just sumbit him in the next SBC or quicksell him!
idk why I have to write pros, he is so trash, he hasn't any pros. The only one
I could imagine is that you like him irl bc he's a legend. or his rating.
- 1 vs 1
- size, this is maybe the biggest problem. Size is soo important this year
- penalties. Didn't save a single one, although I was in the right corner
- reflexes. he takes soo long to make a move
- long shots, even after the patch
- Speed, all keepers are very very fast, but somehow not him
- hard to link (only 4 players)
I completed the Iker Casillas flashback SBC as soon as he came out, I was so excited to get him: a 91 rated GK with great stats, it's fair to say, I was disappointed. Don't get me wrong - he was not dreadful but he was nothing compared to the likes of Neuer, Courois and De Gea. I used him alongside Eder Militao, Alex Telles and Matheiu. And thank God I had them - otherwise i would be conceding 5 goals per game. the thing that let him down was his height and disability to save 1v1s with these flaws, he becomes an awful goalkeeper who would concede too many stupid goals, resulting in an awful weekend league and many less playstation controllers working.

Llevo todo fifa 19 esperando el flashback de Casillas. Portero que indiscutiblemente en 2010 era y ha sido el mejor portero del mundo y de la historia de España. Cual es mi sorpresa cuando me encuentro en 2019 casillas flashback muy balanceado 91 de media y unas stats muy envidiables y todo esto por 65K. Antes de probar a Casillas tenia a De gea que lo consegui por el doble de lo que vale el sbc de casillas (Ambos los usaba con 10 de quimica) y la impresion que me ha dado Casillas sinceramente es de que no tiene 91 de media. De nada sirve tener unas stats bestiales si se come tiros que se podria haber parado Adán, pero bueno esto es Fifa y a todos los porteros les pasa eso. Amo a iker pero no puedo evitar sentir que De gea aunque sean el doble de monedas lo haria mejor.

Reflejos increibles
Velocidad por encima de la media muy util para balones rezagados.
La altura en los corners no influye mucho.
No agarra el balon casi simpre la rechaza dandosela al contrario.
Altura que no le permite llegar a tiros lejanos a los que otros porteros llegarian.
Estirada bastante mala...
