I'm currently between division 2 and 3, and I finish regularly in Elite 2 and 3 in champs.
I've not been much into keepers this year, they all seem bad to me. So I've been running with mediocre GK's like Ederson, Allison, Navas etc and they're alright.
I decided to cash in on a big keeper, and my choice fell on Lloris (53k).
He has his ups and downs, some games he feel like any other, but now and then, he makes the difference in a game - and that's huge, if you play champs!
Sometimes, he just comes up with these amazing saves from corners, or shots from inside the box.
For the price, he's good, but don't expect him to be a Fahrmann from last year, like I said, some games he feels like any other, but those few games once in a while, where he secures the win is just priceless.
really good in tight situations, like tap in's, corners.
This guy is a solid keeper, makes incredible saves and not likely to screw up the game for you. long shots? nails it. finesse? nails it. he is way better than FUT18's lloris that always saves the goal and then reflect it into the net. more than 150+ games for me and he saved me hell a lot of games. on 1v1s he is fast and can jump on the ball as it is a prey (of course he wouldn't save all 1v1s, thats the case with all goalkeepers). He is 6'2" which is great for headers.
His only problem is throwing the ball with his hands, he CAN'T throw it far like any normal goalkeeper and that's a problem in counter attacks, you can't build an attack as quick as possible as you wouldn't throw the ball too far and will end up waiting and then throw it to a nearby defender, if You're trying lloris for the first time You'll often throw the ball to the opponent, until you get used to this con, he is a great keeper. I don't feel like I want to change this keeper till the end of the game.
Long shots
finesse shots
Corners, He will run to the ball but sometimes he don't catch it.
Crosses, He wouldn't grasp the ball but he will push it away, but i believe all fifa keepers do the same so wouldn't count that as a real con.
Hugo Lloris, the debate goes on as to who is the best Premier League goalkeeper in FIFA 19. A lot of you might say De Gea and you might be right but I have come up against a lot of teams with De Gea in goals and he doesn't seem to surprise me. However, Hugo Lloris is the complete opposite. Let's take a look at what's good and what's bad and is he worth your coins.
Diving: An 88 stat for this card is accurate. He truly lives up to that stat. Even with finesse shots coming from outside the box, he is still able to try his best to reach those frustrating overpowered shots.
Handlng: This card feels like he as 88 handling, 90 at best. From finesse shots alone, he catches 60-70% of them and rarely gives the ball away from powerful shots. I haven't conceded a lot of open nets from Hugo Lloris giving the ball away bit he does do it, just not a lot.
Kicking: Not much to really say here, other than it's okay.
Reflexes: This is the highest stat on Lloris's card and it might as well be the most truth about this card. Hugo Lloris is very quick to react to certain situations and can get you out of very dangerous ones as well thanks to fast thinking.
Speed: I haven't had to rush Lloris out of goal before because if you can defend, this won't be an issue.
Positioning: This is something that people have trouble understanding with the fact that moving your goalkeeper manually is a big deal in FIFA 19. If you don't move your goalkeeper (me), this shouldn't be a big problem. Lloris can save most shots in general and can position himself properly to save a shot.
Overall: At the time of this writing, Hugo Lloris is 34,000-35,000 coins. To me, this is a great price for a goalkeeper that won't let you down. However, there are a few things left for me to mention before this review ends.
1: Timed finesse shots are extremely dangerous in FIFA 19 and if you can't move your goalkeeper or don't know how to, these shots are almost guaranteed to go in so watch out for that.
2: Low driven shots are not commonly used in this FIFA because they don't work as effectively as they used to. With Lloris not having a saves with feet trait, this card can concede plenty of low driven shots. However, as I previously mentioned, low driven shots are rarely used in FIFA 19 so they shouldn't be a problem.
This card was great to use and I will continue to use it in the future. Hope this review was helpful.
