I have done a couple of reviews on various players on FIFA 19 but never a GK. I have tried many keepers this year and decided to give this Lloris a chance because his stats are very good compared to the likes of 91 De Gea or EOA Cech. I must say, I was surprised with what I have seen from Hugo throughout the games I have played. The major stat that jumps out to me immediately is the 96 reflexes. It is phenomenal. You can tell he is always on his toes and ready to make a move as soon as the opponent shoots. He also feel very fast for a keeper running to make a save or coming out on a corner. He has a good diving animation and can reach out for a lot of tough shots. He always seems to be in position as well and it really makes for the opponent to have a hard time scoring. His issues come from his kicking distribution and his handling. He will rarely catch any shot. He makes phenomenal saves but parries them away instead of catching it. His parries however are not across the goal so that the opponent can tap in an easy goal but they are away from the opponents which is good. Also, when he comes out on corners he will punch it clear and will rarely catch it. His passing is not the best so do not try to drop it back to him to hold up play. Overall, Lloris is a very good option after a couple upgrades from his horrific Rare Gold and when gameplay is good (which rarely happens) he will make some huge saves to help you out when needed.
Reflexes: An absolute CAT in net. Jumping, Running, Diving at the fastest speeds and is all over the box. Very good on 1v1 instances and breakaways.
Diving: Stretches out for long diving parries or the occasional catch. Covers most of the goal with a wide stance and quick movement.
Speed: When pulling him out for a corner or on a breakaway he feels absolutely rapid. It doesn't make sense how a keeper can be so quick around the pitch but he seems very fast and will not give the opponent much time to think to chip or pass across.
Jumping: Jumps high and at good angles to block a lot of the upper goal shots. Can also spread wide down low for low shots.
Distribution: His passing is subpar but has a very good throw. You will want to use his hands and if you HAVE to drop it back to him just pray that it gets out of pressure or even near where you want. It is not terrible but not ideal.
Handling: Will catch probably 4/10 shots. He will parry shots away from the opponent but if he does leak a ball across the goal he is very quick to get into position and react for the next shot. He has had a lot of double or triple saves that make him look phenomenal but sometimes I wish he would just catch it first time.
