I've written two reviews for two different Sandro cards and as soon as I saw this card being released I knew I wanted to do it, knowing how good his other cards have been. It's been a good two weeks now and still no reviews, but now, there is. I understand that if you have not been able to get this card, you won't care, and if you've got it, you're most likely using him anyway but I have the idea that EA might re-release this near the end of FIFA.
As the title state, I truthfully believe he is the best card in the game in his position. Witthout a chemistry style applied, he has only 3 stats in yellow, all of which are truthfully irrelevant for the position that he plays in. He is só well rounded, that I could honestly advise you playing him anywhere (maybe except as a striker because of his rather low finishing).
His pace is almost maxed out with a chemstyle, and you feel that. No attacker is safe from being caught up by Sandro, and whilst going forward you also notice his insane pace. He is capable of doing that all game, because of his 99 stamina. I've used his card in extra time several times and even then he is good to bump up those flanks. Now that I'm talking about his offensive ability, it's definitely there. His vision isn't outstanding, but definitely good enough to pick out attackers with his insane passing, both short and long. And not to forget those crosses to the back post. I'm not necessarily a crossing player but since I've got ahold of that Torres 95, I've been playing in some balls to him resulting in some very nice goals. His dribbling ability is insane as well, he obviously lacks 4 star skills but I'm not going to hold it against him because it just doesn't form a problem. Because off his excellent mobility, he can beat opponents with fake shots or heel-to-heel flicks which is good enough for me. His turning is so smooth on the ball, something you usually don't experience with someone of his height.
He is outstanding defensively, with basically all defending stats maxed out with the exception of his intercepting and heading. However, because of him having great pace and agility, he gets in front of his man so incredibly often that you honestly think they're maxed out anyway. His tackling and defensive positioning is so good that quite literally any winger he comes up against will struggle to beat him on the wing. And not to forget his physicality. I've boosted his jumping to 96 because of so many people using the overpowered crossing and even though he's not as tall as for example Alonso RTTF, he wins nearly every header against every winger, with the exception of players such as CR7 and Mbappé TOTY, but even against him he might win headers, because his positioning and Strength / Agression combination is so good. This same heading ability is displayed at corners. He is extremely good at heading them out, or heading them in if you're on the opponent's end. His 88 Attacking Positioning might just be the case why he's so good at offensive headers. That strength and agression he has you also will notice when he's up against a forward - he bullies players like no other fullback has done for me before, not even that Alonso or Halstenberg, and that probably is because of their lack in balance which Sandro doesn't have.
I am not really able to say anything about his shooting, as I've never really shot with him, but I suppose 99 / 90 for shot power and long shots will actually allow him to score some bangers from outside the box.
Finally, his workrates are perfect for a leftback and his weak foot is fine. Yes, this card may have been expensive, but for undoubtedly the best left back in the game, I think it's very good. He's got a brilliant nation for linking and his league offers him some great links as well (Chiellini, Ronaldo, Allan, and so on). A 10 / 10, simply brilliant.
