I've always had a dream of having an goalkeeper icon in my team in fut since last FIFA's, and in this year I got the possibility to have it, so, the first gk that came in my mind was Van Der Sar, not only because of his height, but because of his strong passage trought manchester united and etc... Got this goalkeeper doing his SBC, i've payed around 620K to have him, and I don't regret for have done his SBC, this guy is an true legend. Sometimes he does some mistakes, but all goalkeepers in the game would fail sometime. He saved me in a lot of games from WL, and saved me doing great defenses. So, in my opinion, I'm grateful for having this monster on my team, you know, if you don't have all of this money to waste on him, buy de gea , that is also a great keeper and saved me a lot too. But, if you want emotion, or just want to have a feeling of have an icon being your goalkeeper, you don't even need to think about buying him. Just do it, and be happy.
