Will start off by saying I haven't used the regular gold or UCL version of his card. Needed help with my defense because I am absolutely awful this year at defending. He is all over the place, has 95 pace with Anchor, but feels slightly slower. His physicality is what really sets him apart from all the other defenders I've used. Jockeying almost any player will result in him poking the ball away, and even a poorly-timed "circle" press for him still usually steals the ball. He was only beaten once in the air in around 90 games, but only managed to score about 5 goals. Extremely quality player, but I've ultimately decided to move on and replace with HL Lucas Hernandez and allocate the coins elsewhere.

Best CB In The Game?!?!?! (Raphael Varane)

TOTY Varane is simply amazing. I managed to pack him as an untradeable in a gold upgrade pack, and even for the 1.8 million coins give or take that he costs, it is totally worth it. He has so many pro's and almost no con's, and I truly think he is one of the best defenders in this game, easily as good as other top class defenders such as TOTY RAMOS, TOTY Van Dijk, Maldini, Blanc, etc...
