Vieri, The Italian Slayer

As this year I played a whole lot more FIFA than the previous years, I finally was able to buy my first icon ever and wow was I excited to try this guy out. I got to say that my expectations were pretty high for this dude, but he was absolutely able to fullfil them. I played him with a Hunter and mostly on divison rivals (rarely have time to play FUT Champions) on divison 3 and 4 beside Bale and Asensio (two other absolute madlads).

To start off, you expect this man to be a f*cking bulldozer up front and that is exactly what he is, challenging all kinds of centre backs with his anormally large shoulders (for real, this guy is Kim Kardashian's hips large) and winning headers all day with his great jumping and Hawkeye-eske heading accuracy.

His shooting with the Hunter is crazy, first timed shots anywhere near the goal are certified bangers and his shot power is the wet dream of any medieval cannon.

Pace wise don't expect him to sprint like Aubameyang even with 93 pace with the chem style, but do expect him to outrun pratically any centre back on through balls and 1 on 1.

His dribbling is just enough for a striker, can turn with a lot of efficiency and controls the ball very smoothly but you can feel the clear lack of agility and balance, though he blasts like Usain bloody Bolt when you use those OP stepovers.

His long passing is not great, sometimes lacks when I need to supply the ball to Bale or Asensio on those smexy through runs, but is impecable on short passing on those 1-2 situations.

I am not gonna comment on his defending but his physical presence is the reason why I win the ball on very dangerous areas up front.

Overall, I obviously recommend this monster, he is the perfect target man and the best striker that I tried this year easily! Do expect this guy to appear in the perfect spots to tap it in and make sure you have fullbacks with great crossing because it will 100% benefit having lads placing milimetric crosses to his golden shiny gorgeous forehead. He doesn't need much to score, just make sure you place it on his left foot and you can lay back on your chair while gently pressing the shoot button and he will bury it 4/5 times. For 300k you are getting a genuine poacher which will win you games when you most need it, so try him and enjoy the living sh*t out of him!

Impecable shooting anywhere near the goal;
Awesome strength;
Pace (a little slow in comparison to some fullbacks but demolishes centre backs);
Crazy jumping and heading accuracy;
Pinpoint perfect positioning;
Great short passing;

3 star skills can be an issue on 1 on 1;
4 star weakfoot but feels more like a 3 star on long shots, though finishing with both is impecable;
Turns a bit sluggish comes the 80th minute;
Long passing lacking a bit;
46 years old makes him terrible on career mode (jk);

Genuinely incredible.

On a very quick note, I originally got Hagi from the SBC, but I found him to be so disappointing that I decided I couldn't wait for the next Icon SBC. I would advise you to steer clear of Hagi.First of all, it's worth noting I've only used Vieri for 5 games. Absolute Machine
