Firstly... Always take untradable packs from rewards. I was lucky enough to pack an 85 rated Icon the same day this was out.
With my insane luck continuing I managed to complete this SBC challenge with players from my club +250k
I then packed Aubamayang. So in total this cost me 30k to complete!
Where to start.
Pace: Rivaldo feels rapid but could be faster. Pace is broken in FIFA 19 so it is a hard one to judge. I think i'll stick hunter on him but at the moment he gets caught up by CBs....- 8/10
Shooting: Definitely his best stat. This card scores the craziest outside footed finesse shots ever. Finishing is no problem. Suprisingly his his 2*WF doesn't really feel bad. As i mentioned before, his outside of the foot finesse shots are super OP. I have scored at least 3 finesse shots with his weak foot and it can definitely be reliable inside the box. His attacking positioning has made him a beast. In 7 games Rivaldo has scored 5 goals from the RM position - 10/10
Passing: At LM his crosses are Insane and my Ronaldo connects all the time. In 10 games he has assisted 7 times, 3 as a LW and 4 as a ST/CAM. His passing definitely makes him a very versatile player with in a variety of roles. Playing him at CAM was a surefire way to get easy through balls and crossing positions - 9/10
Dribbling: The only way I could describe his dribbling is that he seems top heavy. Like someone trying to keep up with their own feet. If you know what you're doing in terms of 1 on 1s you'll be fine... I don't know what I'm doing! 8/10
As I stated earlier... Definitely feels a bit top heavy if you're sprinting.
his 2+ weak foot will put a lot of people off but you can't feel the difference.
Right boys, I'll try keep this simple. Saw this SBC and thought, you know what, that's cheap for a player of that quality. I was lucky enough to pack Aguero, D silva and vertongen in the packs which got me back about 280k so the SBC in all cost me about 580k which is class. I'm bery unlucky atm, on a bad streak, BUT even in thos awful games, Rivaldo is bossing it. I use him in CAM and I have used him as a RS and lone striker. CAM being his best postion and RS being his second. Lone striker isn't the best because his play making abilities are wasted.
key things to know. He is strong and agile, so defenders hve a hard job of knocking him off the ball. his passing is smooth and long shots are crazy.
I know the weak foot puts a lot of people off but, I find 3* weak foot as bad as 2* this year so I've got used to making sure I take a shot with the players strong foot. his first goal for me was with his right foot though lol.

First of all, I want to state that it isn't an icon that fits elite 1 players and higher
He's kind of a Bale 2.0 pretty predictable because of his weak foot, anyway I decided that
fuc* it I ain't gonna give up to this fear of having an untradable item, and I'm not regretting it
gold 2 thanks to this guy my first gold this FIFA like the title states I expected to be predicted and
blocked every time, but that didn't happen I was really surprised his finesse shot trait just makes him so lethal
especially inside the box, he's just so damn good he got it all in a winger pace strength height
dribbling. And damn thanks for him I scored my first finesse free kick this FIFA
and it wasn't my last with him shortly I thought it would appear as a waste of coins but no he passed my expectations
awesome player for this stage of the game and worst case scenario I got an icon for best sbc .

Cost is fine for some, I had 500k of untradable so only cost me an icon
So where do I start.
First off Im using Rivaldo as a CAM with Hawk in a 4-2-3-1, with POTM Auba to the left and UCL Sane to the right.
I think he is more suited as a CAM/CF or even a FWD.
So lets get started.
He is just amazing, AMAZING. Did I tell you that he's amazing? Ok good. I'll tell you why he's amazing.
*Rivaldo sprints faster than Roadrunner on cocaine.
*Feels stronger than Hulk Hogan on roids.
*He could pass a bowlingball through a garden hose.
*He would kill any gunslinger in the west with his shooting.
*His dribbling will make your opponent defenders look like a one legged magpie.
So I see alot of people complaining about the 2* WF.
And to be completely honest dont listen to those people, listen to me instead.
Obviously when a player lacks WF you just dont use his weaker foot.
It's not rocket science, well okey, for some it might be.

So i had used rivaldo before, and the first time i had used him i was not impressed at all. So when the icon sbc came out i was skeptical about doing it. However, i was tempted by the packs and if he didn't perform I could just trade him into another icon sbc anyway. But this time, he has been unreal. He has been played as a right sided CAM in a 4-2-3-1 and he has easily been the best player in my team. His left foot is insane, and perfectly timed finesse shots are automatically a goal. His height is pretty good, can win headers from kick off and has decent strength so won't get pushed off the ball that easily. Pace isn't the best, but put a hunter or something like that on him and it's more than enough. The four star skills are a big help, combined with his agility, really plays with that brazilian flair. The weak foot is obviously not ideal, but if you know how to use this guy, he's a beast. If in doubt, try the loan out and see.
