Douglas Costa Birthday is so an great player, so i must write an review about this crazy card. At first i played him with deadeye. It seems to be the best opinion, but Costa with an Sniper chem style is the Best what you can do. I played him on Cam.
Pace: 9,5/10
Costa is fast. Very fast. His pace feels like the best player in game. I would give him a 10/10 but on his card costa have only an 97. So I give him an 9.5.
Shooting: 9/10
Before i play him i´m afraid about his finishing. But Costa´s shooting is so gooood. His biggest weakness is really finishing, but with Sniper Costa have 90 Finishing and it feels amazing. 5* weak foot fixed his normal card. You can shoot with both foot and really 90 precent are in goal. Only the curved shoots are only okay and not on the level like neymar or messi.
Passing: 8/10
Costa´s passing is fine. Not like De Bruyne or De Jong Toty but okay. So far i never dissapointed about his passing.
Dribbling: 11/10
Costa´s Dribbling is the really best of the Card. He is sooooo crazy agile. I played with Messi 96, but Costa´s Birthday have an better Dribbling. It´s breathtaking, when you play with him. Nobody can catch the ball when costa dribble in the penalty box. The first steps no defense can hold him. He is always great.
Defending:
Not interesting for his position, so no words needed.
Physicality:7/10
Costa´s physis is ok. His stamina is enough for 80-90 minutes, but no longer. His strength is okay but not the best.
Overall: 9,5/10
Fut Birthday Costa is the best card i play in this game. He is a beast and an absolutely gamechanger. He feels like Messi with 5 star weak foot.
One of my favourite cards this year. 5 *5 is so great. I use him as a left cam (LAM) in 4-2-3-1. Ball feels so smooth with him and what a fun card to play with. I would recommend using Deadeye chemistry style to boost his finishing. Also there is not going to be a better Brazilian left winger this fifa. note that Neymar is a CAM and not fast enough to be played on the wing since tots are coming..
Pace: 9.5
Yeah you probably aint blind that his card says 97 but he actually feels very very fast. For example I had 91 L.Sane and he has "99" pace but ingame doesnt really feel that fast.
98 Acceleration helps with those fast first steps to sprint past defenders.
Shooting: 9
75 finishing is the biggest lie I have ever heard since my dad told me that I am not adopted. That 99 shot power is so useful with those near post strikes. He can finish with both feet and barely misses. Also his long shots or shots from near the box are amazing with that 94 long shots and the shot power.
Dribbling: 10
Where do I start? The ball literally sticks to his feet and sometimes you do not even need that 5* skills simply, because his dribbling ability is so smooth and silky. Of course that 5* adds some special brazilian samba to him. One of the best dribblers in this game for sure.
Passing: 8.5
Nothing crazy, but he definitely can pass the ball and all his passes are accurate and good enough for a winger. His short passing is 89, which is good, so that really helps especially if you play that tiki taka kind of football.
Physical: 7
Even though he is kinda small, He is not getting pushed of the ball too easily. Strenght is 70, which is good enough. Stamina is 86, which is good, atleast he can run the whole game without getting tired(Assuming you apply squad fitness every 3 games).
Defending: 3

I know its a bit late and were about to enter tots but this player deserves a review.
so i got this bad boy in the party bag and as a div 2 E3/G1 i thought to myself itll be really fun to try him
Pace: if you are the type of players that love to attack from the wings this guy is perfect for you.
dribble: just to mention im playing with huge delay in my country( 60sms minimum and reallygmeplay) and this guy has one of the best dribbles i used, so for this guy delay does not exist
passing: for me the most underrated stat. this guy wont mess up easy passes, if you like doing low crosses this boy wont miss them
maybe finishing: i know a lot of people are worried about his finishing so let me explain it, this guy CAN finish its notR9 finishing that he can score from bad position BUT he will score easy chances .
Well... where do I start. I never planned to buy him because of his 75 finishing until I was kinda forced to after packing him in a 83+ pack. And OMG I was not expecting this at all. This guy has won me so many games with a goal in like the 90th ot 120th minute. He can score long shots, finesse shots, power shots, you name it, he has got it. I had toty mane in his position, but after a few games with costa, mane became my fulltime benchwarmer. What a player he is, just what a player. And this is also a perfect example that some players just don't play as good or bad as the stats suggests, and costa is a perfect example of that.
As an owner of gold Alexis Sanchez, I do not recommend an upgrade to Douglas Costa. I have played Douglas everywhere with a deadeye, and he loses the ball every time he gets it. I want the best for everyone reading this, so stay away from this card. He turns like a tank, and simply doesn't fit the meta with his height, skill moves, and weak foot. His pace is what turns me off right away when I see this card. The only reason I would get this card is to play him CDM due to his long passing and sliding tackle. The best attribute about this card is truly his links. He gets great links to Florenzi. He plays great next to Zapata up top, but without Zapata there is no reason for this card or to upgrade. The whole reason around the hype with this card is just because the finishing got upped by 10 from his futmas. Honestly, now that we're in April, his shot power just doesn't cut it.
