Ribéry is a solid 9.9/10, I used Promes before him and he's definitly an upgrade.
I think Ribéry is better at CAM than LW tho.
I've used him as CAM and LW, he's good in both positions but I seem to see him way more often when he's at CAM, but I think that is normal, the only downside is the stamina he loses on both positions, I didn't use him as ST since I have TOTY mbappe, but I think using him as a ST would be definitly a great decision.
His Strength combined with his dribbling and 5stars makes him a top level player.
I use him at 8 chem and he's great.

I used Ribery in a 3-5-2 next to jovic, OMG lets me say guys He is insane.His shots fly in the back of the net.His dribbling feels like 99 messi on steroids. Ribery pace actually feels like 97.His passing is like xavi in his prime. And weird enough is physicality Better than I expected. Even His aggression is actually insane.

EA PLEASE FIX HIS STAMINA.It is not 90.He is like rare messi and cam,and messi has 15 lower stat
The important thing to understand with this card is his Close Control Dribbling. He doesn't dribble like most cards. Sancho and Messi dribble similar. They keep the ball close to their feet and can't bomb past a fullback like a Dembele, Mertens, Mbappe etc. even if you give them 99 in both pace stats. The close control though makes this card an outrageous central CAM. He has everything IG that I want in that position. Does he play to his stats? He honestly does. You feel the insane shooting IG. His twists and turns on the edge of the box are majestic. His strength is definitely noticeable - can shrug off a number of players shoulder to shoulder, although don't try and body VVD off the ball for obvious reasons. I cannot stress enough with his dribbling type, to play this card at central CAM. Not out wide, not at ST. Play him CAM. If you need a wide CAM and want to stretch the play, get in behind, bomb down the wing etc. get Dembele.

- - Really nice passing for a CAM - beautiful interchange of passes with a ST even without a chem boost (I played with Marksman)
- His movement. I really liked the way he would play off a ST. The interchange of passes in a pass and move attack is sublime.
- The strength. For a little man, he holds his own and can shrug off challenges when you try and make space
-The biggest con could be the dribbling type if you're unprepared or want a speed merchant to bomb down the wing. He keeps the ball close to his feet and twists and turns. If you want a rapid winger/wide CAM to blitz down the wing, get Dembele or Mbappe
-The height could be a slight issue, particularly if you play him at ST. VVD, Boateng etc. will body him off the ball just due to their sheer size.
-No shooting traits would be a VERY minor con. His finesses so far for me have been fantastic but I'm presuming the trait will help his accuracy over the long run.
-The price and the links. He's well worth the coins IMO but its a lot to put in for an untradable player. Good links, but he might not fit in everyone's team.
He's simply a god on the pitch, he flyes, he moves, he shots like a god. i've got 5 matches and already 10 goals and 2 asistances, i played him as right ST in a 4-3-1-2 with 2 strikers. this is a quick review cuz i want to keep playing with him xD, also using Hawk chem style, However you can use Marksmann or Sniper if you so desire.

Well, after a few months away from fifa and after being incredibly frustrated by a poor run of form, i decide to share my thoughts about a player that quite literally changed my team. Franky Ribéry, the ex shining Bayern Munich star, is for me the best CAM in this game. I thought I had found the gem in both DI Maria's fut birthday and Tots cards with their lethal shooting and dribbling ability, then Eriken's summer heat card, but thies Ribery card simply out-performed and outshone both these players. I must say, if you want to get the most out of this card, just play him at CAM. That's where he'll make defenders cry for their mothers and your opponents rage in frustration or throw their controllers at the wall. Major pro on this card: his dribbling. A couple months ago, i found the joys of using 5 star skillers, and Ribery is the perfect player for skills. I noticed that with 95 Mertens, the combined dribbling-agility stat make him some sort of eel which can quite literaly glide past any player. Second major pro, his SHOOOTING. Just flawless inside the bow, and outside as well, his finesse shots are so lovely. Plus his shot power is mad. Play him at cam, and you won't complain either about his very sweet and crispy passing. Pace of 97 is also absolutely ridiculous. Overall, an incredibly enjoyable card, which looks rather expensive at around 500k, but don't let the price disturb you, cause the guy is very good value for money

Franck Ribery! what a card, after using his shapeshifter loan for 7 games and scoring 14 goals months ago while doing icon swaps objectives i fell in love with ribery on this game. i could never afford the shapeshifter as its been around 1.5 million coins for a reason the whole game. Using him as left ST in 4222, i am a gold 3 player however it only takes me 20-25 games to get it, if i had to describe ribery in a nutshell, he plays as clinical as Ben Yedder and he moves very similar, but he feels like the french neymar with his 5 star 5 star. His stats do not show truely how overpowered the card is. If you play him a with a marksman he boosts to 96 strength which on a 5'7 99 agility and balance striker makes him unstoppable. He almost bullys all defenders except for the van dijks and david luizs of the game. He is worth every coin however you should be able to craft him for near to nothing with all the easy fodder to obtain through objectives, packs and sbcs.

Not using him as a CAM(although u could use him), his passing is better than my CAM but using him as striker bcs of double 5. Love his freekick accuracy and vision, pass always ends up where I want it

Such a god tier dribbler, composure and agility are the most noticable stats, keeps himself on the feet after some hard duels, dribbling is incredible, could say he is he is THE BEST DRIBBLER IN THE GAME. 5* SM are also incredible, elasticos are so fast and so controled in certain situations and I LIKE HIM A LOT.

Could press the defender but it ends up doing nothing to him, everything else is bad, but who cares
PHYSICALITY 9/10
OMG, such a strong card, holds up Maldini or Kimpembe so easy on his back, that its sometimes not imaginable, to see small players doing it. Stamina is better than his Shapeshifter one and I really like it, aggression is the only thing that is not that good but he can fight for the ball from time to time. Jumping is not relavent so I just ignore it.
FINAL THOUGHTS
GO AND GET THIS CARD FAST, USE HIM WITH THE MARKSMAN, AND EVEN ON 7 OR 8 CHEM HE IS A BEAST !!!

SS Ribery was my dream player I always wanted, and when SH Ribery was released, I immediately did him for 30k. 5*5*, good physicals, what could go wrong? Firstly he is the only really 'meta' player in my team. Elasticos and scoop turns with Ribery felt average at best, but the absolute worst thing about him was his poor positioning and terrible runs... He replaced TOTSF Haland; Ribery scored 15 in 24, Haland scored 34 in 19... I tried him at ST with False 9, mixed, target man and his runs were just horrendous, even when i triggered them manually... Even worse when I tried him at CAM... He got 6 goals, 1 assist in 10 games playing at CAM... My 74 rated Paulihno has 40 goals, 37 assists in 32 games at CAM... That being said, Ribery's shooting is top tier, save for an instance in which he skied an open net shot when i literally tapped O. You can finesse with him with more angles due to his 5 star WF. His dribbling also had the sticky feet feel, although my FB Modric is better. A major downside with Ribery is that with a marksman, his pace feels below the power curve. Two hands are not enough for me to count the number of times TOTSF Ramos or FB Militao easily easily caught up with him. On the other hand, my SH Diaby decimated those players despite being weaker. Also, as with short players like TOTSF Tevez, RIbery's strength is a scam. He definitely does not flop like Neymar when touched, but any defender 6ft and up can easily overpower him. Oh yeah, he does not have his advertised stamina. He always has the second lowest stamina in my team despite being on conservative interceptions, and thus always gets subbed off.
