So, being a big fan of West Brom (someone has to be), I was really happy to see Ajayi and Pereira get a TOTSSF card. They've been great all season, but that's not what you're here for.
I have put a shadow on Ajayi to ensure virtually MAXIMAL pace - 97 is obscene. He plays in FIFA like he does in real life - he is incredibly quick and is always there with a lanky leg to stop anyone trying to get past him. This is probably one of the easier reviews I've written to be honest - he's just really good! Links are obviously going to be a slight issue (who wouldn't run a Nigerian / Championship hybrid?!) but if you can get the coins together there's a strong link to Pereira (I have his 81 and he's tremendous - I'm just waiting for his 91 to drop in price) and he'll soft link into players like Rodak, Cash, Phillips, Swift and Eze as well. Not forgetting Flashback Rooney and McGeady if you have them as well.
If you're reading this on PC / Laptop, I'm really sorry about the font - it's the best I can do :-).
I also wish you and your families all the best during this time, we will beat the Virus soon :-)
PACE
Strength
Height - wins virtually everything from corners and set pieces.
Heading is actually really nice, even on this FIFA.
89 Stamina means he's a good chem style away from being a classy CDM or even CM.
Feels agile for a man of his height.
All round lankyness really (is that a word?)
Price (30k has to be a joke, if he was in the PL (soon hopefully ;-)) he'd easily be over 300k.
I guess links
The fact that, if you need to buy a shadow, that's literally half the price of the card itself..
Probably the 2* weak foot being picky, would be nice if it was higher
Doesn't change games as such, he's just there and does his job to a high standard.
Maybe penalties if you're in one of those Champs games and Kent and Ben Yedder have done a job on you AGAIN
Ok so I've struggled with defending this year, usually had good defenders as well it's more just my ability to defend thats the problem, in my guaranteed EFL TOTS pack I got Matheus Pereria and really wanted to get him into my starting 11 so I thought this guy looked unbelievably good for the price and the reviews I read about him said the same thing, that he is a tank. So far I've played 40 games with him and he carried me through my weekend league to get a good finish for the first time in a few weeks. I just finished playing a game against a guy who had PIM R9 and Ajayi pocketed him for most of the game, only scored when he switched sides to my other CB. The guy is dominant in the air, pushes anybody off the ball with ease and if you try to run past him he's catching you up just for a laugh. For 24k he is an absolute steal and I can't recommend him enough
Cost - If you compare him to two of the most overpowered CB's in the game, imo being Van Dijks 90 and Varane's 85 you can really see the difference, he has more total stats and in game stats than both of them and he is about 30k less than Varane and 280k less than Van Dijk (I would say that Van Dijk may still be as good just due to his body type and how OP that has been again this year) but you can see my point when you look at the cost, granted he's a nightmare to link compared to a Dutch Liverpool CB and a French Real Madrid CB when he's a Nigerian West Brom CB but honestly I cannot believe how cheap he is considering how expensive a few other EFL TOTSSF cards are
Pace - The guy is electric fast, in the 40 odd games I've played with him so far he's only been burnt for pace once and that was up against a Ryan Kent in the late game so can't really fault that. Seen a few people using shadow on him but in my opinion there's not much need, and putting an anchor on him makes him a 95 rated CB with 90 sprint speed and acceleration. So for pretty much all of the game he's more than comfortable keeping pace with your opponents attackers.
Dribbling - This to me was the most surprising part of the card, the way I play I tend to rely on my defenders to be able to move out of defense into midfield and start my attacks and with him having 84 agility, 94 ball control and 90 composure he's been perfect for it and has fit my style perfectly, and again the strength he has just makes it so much easier to pull this off which leads to the next con
Physicality - The guy eats mercury for breakfast, any attacker is getting bodied by him and left in a heap on the floor, that's all I need to say about it
Links - The only reason I have him is because of packing Matheus Pereira who obviously gives him a green link and I then have soft links to 89 Van Der Sar and TOTSSF Matty Cash so thankfully he's surrounded by more great players. Being Nigerian means he only really links to the players I've already used and then maybe FS Osimhen if your really reaching
Actual heading from corners - Now defensive heading for him isn't a problem at all, for me he wins pretty much every goal kick or free kick that comes his way. But from corners he missed a few sitters for me - He did score 3 headers though so it's not horrendous and I know corners are hard to score from but if I'm trying to find 1 in game weakness for him this would be the only one I could honestly put down for him. He's really that good for me
