So I got him and Kroos as my red picks last week and tried to fit them in one squad. I ended up linking him with TOTSSF Mariano in a 4-5-1. Ingame he played CAM in a 41212 (narrow) or LW in a 433 (2) or (4). I aimed for Gold 3 this WL and managed to reach it in 21 games (which is very good for my standards). Within these 21 games Guilherme scored 17 and provided 6 assists. At first I tried Artist chem to boost his long passing but switched to Sniper after a few games because his finishing was lacking.
PACE
He is really quick but not Daniel James (or the guy with K) levels. My playstyle doesn't rely much on pace but on the occasional through ball he burned some defenders.
DRIBBLING
His dribbling is insane, you can really feel the 99 agility and 99 balance and in addition with his height he is able to change directions in a blink of an eye. Even though he has the "stocky" body type he doesn't feel clunky at all.
SHOOTING
After I switched to Sniper chem he really upped his scoring contributions. If you get the ball on his left, shoot and he will deliver. The shot power is mad and I could've sworn he had the finesse trait because of how many beautiful shots he curled into the top corner (ignore the 76 curve). 3* WF is of course not perfect but if you know how to play with "one footed" players it's not much of a problem. 4* skills helps to get into better positions to unleash his rocket of a lefty. His positioning is really good, in my 41212 i tell both strikers to go wide so the CAM is kind of a false 9 and scores a lot. Guilherme fitted this role perfectly. With 89 composure (94 with sniper) he finishes consistently even from difficult angles.
DEFENDING
Did not defend much with him but he also didn't stand out negatively.
PASSING
His passing is clinical. Short passes are immaculate and he plays through balls or lobbed passes with ease and precision. I even managed to score from some of his crosses when I played him LW (which is about as common as winning the lotto in Cut Back Simulator 20).
PHYSICAL
98 stamina is no lie. He never runs out of it. As a CAM I played him on stay forward and he used up only about 3 fitness per game. As a LW he is on free roam and playing him this way for 90+ mins is not a problem at all. Although 74 strength might not seem much by TOTS standards, he will bully the occassional defender because of his stocky body type.
If you're like me and enjoy trying out new players, i can totally recommend him. He can probably play every position up front but I recommend him as a CAM, where he's most dangerous and will create a lot of space with smart runs and passes.
Linkability may seem to be a problem but there are a lot of fun brazilians and the green link to Mariano (who I can recommend as well) is enough to get him on 10 chem e.g. in 4-5-1.
At the time of writing he's ~ 100k, which is fine for those stats and ingame performance but there may be better options in this price category as TOTSSF continues.
All in all: 9/10, has a little something for everyone.
I was expecting a rapid, nimble, powerhouse of a right winger in Guilherme, but he went missing every single fut champs game and his match stats show this. With 2 goals and 8 assists in 29 weekend league games, I was extremely disappointed. My other winger, Overmars from icon swaps, was darting in and out all the time, providing the flank option all the time and using his 5* weak foot to great effect. Guilherme, on the other hand, was nowhere to be seen, and when he did rarely get on the ball, he was easily outpaced by all full backs, even slow ones like Marcos Alonso or Fuchs (both flashbacks.) His 97 pace is an absolute lie, with his 99 agility and balance also being lies. I suppose this is because of his stocky build, which grants him no physical benefits and makes him slower and more clunky. His passing was awful, and he rarely got into a position to shoot. His heading was dreadful, often out jumping full backs after rebounds but of course missing the open goal due to his 58 heading accuracy. He was truly useless in my team, despite me playing one of my best weekend leagues ever to clinch gold 2 with one game to spare. I have no idea how he's so expensive, he's utter dog shit.
