Well what can i say this guy is honestly one of the best players I've used. After using him in 10 games of div 4 rivals he came out with 12 goals and 12 assists. His card fits the meta perfectly and he feels rapid in game . He is a bargain
I had the opportunity to fit him in my starting eleven, and I saw some reviews about saying he was pretty decent, so I tried him out before weekend league. I am a gold 2 player, but after playing 10 games with Rafa, I am convinced I will reach gold 1, or even an elite 3. There is something that makes him better than other wingers, apart from the fact that he has amazing stats. His positioning is one of the best I have seen this year, and he can play as a CAM, LW, RW, ST. You can tell he is super fast because of the 98 pace (97 acc, 99 sprint speed), but he feels way more faster than that. His passing is ok, not De Bruyne level but he knows where to put the ball, he actually has a really good long pass, making 3 assists like that with me. Strength is dreadful, but his dribbling is top 5 in the game, after Messi, Neymar, Douglas Costa and Grimaldo. And I love his shooting inside the box, really powerful and precise. If you can link him, go for him.

At the time I am making this review (Friday 29th of May), Rafa has made some weird touches sometimes, but I think Ea did something with the gameplay after the latest update, I'm pretty sure you guys have also felt it
Used this card last week for the weekend league and in terms of value for money he is one of the best LW/LM's in FUT. I managed to fit him into my team by strong linking with Grimaldo (who is also a beast) and played him at LM in a 4-4-2(2). In this formation the wide players don't get involved too much in terms of shooting, but when the ball dropped to him every now and then he would score 90% of the time, especially with his 4* WF. He already has amazing pace and great shooting so I used a finisher chem style to improve his long shots and physical since he's quite weak, but his dribbling and pace make up for this lack of strength. IMO he is one of the best dribblers I've used so the wing is definitely the best place to play him. I would say If you can fit him into your team with icons, etc, he's definitely worth a try with his low price tag.
Rapid
Insane Dribbling
Great Finisher
Sufficient passing
99 Stamina
Price
Poor Strength (Gets barged of the ball quite a lot)
Got him in the Liga NOS guaranteed and i got happy as i needed a supersub. He sometimes made a difference in the late minutes but nothing gamechanging. I changed my teamso he got in as a starter and oh boy is he bad. Apart of the pace he got absolutely nothing. Everybody else seems to love him so ii don't really know what to think. Clearly not worth the coins.
Pace
Lucky bounces
Surprisingly defending : sometimes he comes back on defense with his pace he can get back quickly enough and legit foes under the legs of the opponent
Passing
Strenght : he goes flying if the defender next to him sneezes too hard
Hey guys, I'm a gold2/gold1 player usually. I got Gabriel in red picks so thought to maximise him lets get rafa to link him.
BIG MISTAKE.
I dont usually leave reviews for the good players or crap ones I've used but lord have mercy no one else should experience the pain of this tragic card.
Lets talk about his pace, easily his best trait. If there's a half decent RB on the other side forget about it his horrible physicality means as soon as he's touched he'll lose the ball
Now the real crux I have with this card is his passing...even on DEADEYE this man struggles to make a pass with his strong foot, it's like he's in pain anytime he has to kick the ball so it goes extra slow and it's almost always, intercepted. Usually leading to a counter attack for my opponent so it's just messed up everything.
His shot is okay from close range but any ideas of a finesse outside the box or power shot? forget about it, like i said it seems like he has feet filled with air and not bones so the power nowhere to be seen.
Now i'm a decent player, if this guy ever made smart runs he'd be sort of usable you know but as a LAM i'm telling you people he is LOST. Doesn't know where to run or how to captalise on space he's literally useless.
I then tried him for 10 games at CAM/ST, my goodness if i could count how many times this man lost the ball he can't shield the ball from anyone! Don't play him down the middle as useless as he is, play him on the left.
I got gold 1 this weekend by having to sub out this man 30 minutes into each game, he became a handicapp more than anything, i've tried every single chemstyle with him on rivals to try 'fix' him.
It wasn't possible, he's a lost cause, just HORRIBLE.
Please my fifa people, save yourself the trouble and do not buy him. Honestly I can't believe he was a solid 170k for a whole week once base gold Neres plays better than him and that's saying a lot
He felt really fast down the wing and with the advantage of skills moves are agility he felt really good in tight spaces aswell, He was clinical on his left foot missed a few but mostly went in which is good for a LW, one of his clear negatives is his weak foot as if your opponent knows that he can read it easily but he his quick and agile enough to avoid a tackle, I did enjoy using this card however he felt quite hard to use and most games my opponent would know that he doesn't have a right foot which is quite difficult to get around
