Today the review falls on Ike Opara. This card brings a lot of nostalgia from previous years of FIFA, so i decided to buy him specifically for a FUTBIN Review. So let's get started.
Well when you look at a card like this you wonder what chemistry style you're gonna use on him, since his pace is so high, a shadow would feel like a waste, i took another look at some stats that he might've missed, and i decided to go with a "GUARDIAN" chemstyle.
Pace: [10/10]
Definitely one of the reasons Opara is so "OP" is because of his Pace combined with his height. This TOTS version of Opara sums up why he is nearly 350k by the time i'm doing a review on him. His pace is something else.
Shooting: [N/A]
This section is quite irrelevant for a CB, so i've decided not to rate him on those parametres.
Passing: [7.5/10]
His passing is decent, he does the job to be quite honest with ya. 99 Short passing with 95 Long passing makes this card really good for quickly getting rid of the ball, which you usually do with a Centreback. In order to him not receiving a higher rating is because he lacks "vision". He sometimes does these weird passes, and i do not know 100% if that is due to the lack of "vision" but yeah.
Dribbling: [9/10] (Guardian Chemstyle boosts this section)
This card provides all you can ask for in terms of the dribbling sections for a CB. Amazing agility, amazing balance, amazing composure, everything BUT the actual dribbling is amazing, however, his actual dribbling is not that bad either, but i gave him the "Guardian" chemstyle to boost the dribbling specifically, because i do like to have my CB's to touch the ball a few times before passing it over to the fullbacks or the CDM.
Defending: [10/10] (Guardian Chemstyle Boosts This Section)
This card is just brutal when it comes to defending, he provides hard tackles to get the ball, which i personally like, and he always positions himself really good when it comes to counter attacks from my opponents. His defensive stats are ALL 99 when boosted with the "Guardian" chemstyle. So of course he is amazing in defence.
Physical: [10/10]
This is just AMAZING when it comes to a card like this, 99 Jumping, 98 Strength, 95 Aggresion and 85 Stamina which is more than enough for a CB. Honestly, not only those stats, but his physical presence with his bodytype in-game is just amazing. His bodytype is: "High and Average" Which in my opinion is the best bodytype for a CB, and you know who else has that same bodytype? Van Dijk, Diego Carlos, Manolas, Rio Ferdinand... All these are meta CB's and this gives you EVERY reason to buy this card.
Overall: [10/10]
This card is honestly just spectacular, he got everything that you need in order to stop the really good cards, like CR7 TOTY, Mbappe TOTY, Neymar TOTS, etc. I would recommend the "Guardian" or the "Shadow" chemstyle on him, this way you improve his defensive stats as much as possible which is the only thing you want to get the perfect CB.
Would i call this card the perfect CB? If you can link him properly. YES!
Lads, lads,,lads. W.O.W! This card is amazing. His speed, strength and height are game changers. If you're a goal ahead and need that one win for a gold 1 finish, and your annoying opponent breaks out the TOTS Adama, this is the guy to counter him. Adama has pace? Opara has equal. Adama has strength? Opara has more than enough to body adama into the stands. Adama can't head, Opara can slam dunk the heck outta any crossbar. His height makes it impossible FOR ANY ATTACKER to head past him. If you're a goal down, just leave opara at the back and throw all the others forward, and i gurantee you your opponent will crumble under the pressure and wont be able to counter because the Great wall of USA will be in the way. This man slide-tackles so smoothly it seems he has baby lotion all over his back. Daddy-Long Legs can sweep the ball from a guy easily 4-5 feet away, and leave your opponent confused so as to why TOTS Ben Yedder missed an open goal. Alongside VDS, this man can block most shots and even scored a banging header, from the edge of the box, off the right post and into the net leaving PIM smeichel helpless. Linkability is a bit hard but if you grinded the moments SBCs, you can link him up since holy moly, HE IS WORTH ALL THE ADJUSTMENTS YOU NEED TO MAKE.
There is a reason his name is Ike (OP)ara. I got him in my picks and because of all the hype I had to find a way to fit him in my team. Unfortunately, I did not find any way to fit him in the team because I am NOT about to have an MLS defence. Anyways, I had him a sub and subbed him in the beginning of the game as a LCB in a 3-4-1-2, yes 3 at the back. That just shows how good Opara was for me. He shuts every attacker down, including the best due to his high agility and pace which are able to match the attackers. He is extremely solid at the back and he tackles so well it feels like he has 3 legs (which explains the title). I feel much more confident and comfortable in defence thanks to him. I honestly couldn't name any flaws in his game. He is very hard to get around. Additionally, without a couple of disconnects Ike would have carried me to my first Elite finish in champs. Hopefully EA would fix their servers next weekend and I will get my first Elite.

Can't really name any to be honest but if I had to name one it would be his links
If you go on Instagram and look around fifa accounts you will probably see a post talking about this guy, about how he is the only one that can stop tots ben yedder, and ben yedder tots didnt appear in my screen in all weekend league, and opara didn't stop potm ben yedder. There are some amazing things that this card has but he was actually a bit inconsistent. There was a match were he would intercept absolutely everything, and then completely disssapear the next one. Lucky for me, I linked opara with Robinson TOTS, and the matches were opara didn't show up, Robinson did. Opara's tackles are absolutely amazing and clean, forget about 99 agression strikers, opara just won't let them get away with it. And the thiing that convinced me to keep opara in my team for the rest of the year, is his interceptions. Apart from having 99 with shadow, his acceleration is unbelievable, and will intercept the ball like nothing. BUT, remember, Opara will be inconsistent for sometimes, but that's just scripting, right? Don't expect him to be the best cb in the history of fifa, because he isn't, there are slightly better options out there, like Diego Carlos or FB Militao, opara is hyped just because of hype. For closing words, I'll say for 170k, Opara is the best value for coins center back in the history of Fifa, not the best center back, best value.
PS: I didn't spend 15k for a shadow, I bought him with shadow included, it was the cheapest Opara in the market at the moment.
His agility combined with acceleration is more than perfect

Have you ever experienced when a Ryan Kent from the opponent is running, and pushes off the ball a lil bit far, and your center back just has to outmuscle Kent, but what happens is that your defender misses the tackle and Kent goes on? With Opara that doesn't happen never. And before someone says that happens only with kent cause he is
