This card has its pros and its cons. Again this year he is amazing blocking shots from inside the box, but any shoot i receive outside the box im shaking. He almost concedes any shoot executed from outside the box. Something i didnt have to worry when i play with Alisson or De gea or Ter stegen. He is too inconsistent for me. I tried GK basic and Cat chem styles. Seen no difference at all. If you have an EPL squad you are better off with Alisson or De Gea.
I genuinely can't believe how good he is. I'm writing this at TOTS time so the market is full of new goalkeepers i.e. Alisson, Henderson (as are everyone's teams because of the premier league guarantee- if anyone can afford it, that is), Gulasci, Courtois, etc. And of course there are the staples: Ter Stegen, De Gea, Oblak, Donnarumma...
I've had the privilege to use Ter Stegen for almost 200 games throughout the year- I run a road to glory and don't have that many coins. I'm a relatively average div 5/6 player and often finish Silver 1 in rivals, Gold 3 at a push- that doesn't invalidate my opinion though, it arguably makes me more informed... My goalkeepers see a lot of action!
When I saw the objectives Laporte, which is also fantastic I may add, I decided that I would have to change up my team and transformed my right hand side using Lloris, Laporte and Cancelo FutBday. I'm still undecided on Cancelo and may try to save up for TOTS AWB or Headliner Walker but Lloris is amazing. I am a cheapskate, yes, guilty, and was deciding between Lloris and Ederson... Lloris was 2k cheaper, so in he went.
I don't regret it at all. He is a fantastic reaction stopper, he made some outstanding saves which I haven't seen any goalkeeper make in this iteration of the game. His handling is a bit meh, but in fairness so is most goalkeepers in the game, and in his defence, in the 30 games I've used him in champs and rivals thus far, I haven't conceded the fabled 'rebound goal.' I'm not a drop back player, I leave may custom settings on about 5 depth and pressure on heavy touch, so I don't like to give players room to shoot from distance, however, when they have Lloris often pulls out the most amazing, acrobatic saves- partially due to his skill, partially due to his save animation. He looks like a really goalkeeper, which is nice because as great as Courtois is, he often looks like he would dislocate an elbow if he saved like that in real life.
Oh and if you're not using a basic... on any goalkeeper, what are you doing??
Reactions & Reflex Saves in the Box
Speed (not particularly important, but is the fastest base card gk in the game and is nice to have)
Kicking is okay, nothing special but won't let you down
Link-ability (an array of French and Prem options)
Long Shots, I know some people have issues with Lloris facing long shots, but he's been fine for me
Okay, this sounds a little bit silly, but he's not a special card and TOTS keepers look cooler
Es un buen arquero y no es demasiado caro, buena liga y link perfecto con sanchez, lo recomiendo aunque el mejor en su liga es alisson con lloris te ahorras bastantes monedas
