Solid defender

I packed Alisson untradable and decided to give Thiago Silva a try. I played about 70 Matches he managed to get 2 Goals and 3 assists (just 5 yellow cards).

After he break in he played very good. Positioning and standing tackle is top class, passing also. Strength is solid but nothing to special, most players get pushed away by him.

He plays good if you are patient in defending. He lacks acceleration but with the shadow its usable. The thing is you have to decide for aggression or pace, since with a shadow his aggression is to low to push very strong, not as if that is a weakness but it is not actually that good in comparison to VVD, Ramos and other Icons for example. All in all he is very solid and if you know how to defend manually he does what you want him to do, he saved my ass very often in the last quarte and he almost never commits big fouls.

I played with pacy CB's for a while, trying yo fit the meta. however players like diallo, Joe Gomez and Hermoso all had the same problem, when getting close to the attackers, they would just stand there. Surprisingly Good

Used the base version during draft and was impressed (I only conceded 3 goals throughout) so I thought I'd give the POTM a chance:The pace was good enough to work with when coupled with his positioning and tackling, his defensive performances were consistently 10's which in this current game is a rarity of itself.
