Well, what can I say? When buying him don't expect him to be able to dribble because he can't. Not at all. He has trampolines for feet. However, his shooting ability is just phenomenal. I am a div 1 player and am decent. I am not the best but not the worst too, in trying to get away from using meta players I stumbled upon this man. My childhood hero, Didier Drogba. I'd say yes there is some favouritism as he was a new player in my squad and obviously being a Chelsea fan I was very excited so I passed him the ball a lot but I know most people do that when they get a new player. I would say he's a lot like Jamie Vardy but with mad physical stats. I play him as a get in behind striker who just thrashes any defender who comes in his path. He bullys VVD and varane like its nothing. This card is exceptionally fun to use but you need to surround him with players who can dribble as in the drop back meta where you have to play in front of their box he can be quite useless. I would say he is far better than what you'd expect him to be but there are still better alternatives at his price point. I wouldn't recommend him to be honest unless you're bored and want to get away from the meta. He is similar to Torres in a way but with way less dribbling. I honestly don't know who to compare him with. Haaland comes to mind but he is way more useable than him as he at least has a 4* 4*. I used him in a 4231 with Potm felix, Messi and the Spanish seria dude from Udinese behind him. I used to thread through balls to him and he would finish or I would use him to pull a defender out of position and use that space to play a through ball. It worked well for me in the weekend league.
Drogba. I mean what else do I have to say. I was looking for something to spice up my team a little with so I decided to do an icon pack. Got this absolute monster. I was a bit sceptical at first due to his low pace and dribbling stats, trust me when I say that doesn't matter. I played him in a 5212 with Reece James FS at rwb, Ferland Mendy lwb, Reinier FS (87) and POTM Haaland. He is just sensational as a target man in the middle of the pitch, his finishing is immense, heading just as impressive. He has the perfect balance of speed and strength to wrestle most cbs off the ball and speed away. Corners and crosses into him are heaven sent, beats the opponent to the ball 99% of the time with a hawk chemstyle on him. He is just a very enjoyable player. the only bad thing about him is he is super unresponsive and cannot dribble in any way, but if you have a playing style to play around that I would recommend him as a target man/ hold up 1-2 merchant any day of the week, he also has that wow factor that makes you just want to score more with him, the most fun I have had with a player for ages! He plays a lot like haaland, apart from the fact that Drogba is less responsive and slower, but is 100x better in the air, has 4* wf and feels a lot stronger in game.

I packed Drogba a couple months ago and im still using him now he was a game changer ! At first I wasn't happy with his performance he couldn't turn wasn't fast and was struggling . and I had to learn this the hard way but when you pack a good or expensive non - meta player you have to build a playstyle around him in my case I had to play him alone in the striker position I found the best formation for this the 4231 was doing wonders and then when I compared him with my previous striker UEL aubamayeng I felt the difference hid finishing was class he was amazing in the air he was just the perfect striker for me I im playing him with a hunter because I don't turn with him much I usually use the scoop fake shot to turn with him and its exceptional . In the end if ou don't like him at firs its normal but if you get used to him and utilize him in the right way he will be class.
