Welcome to another review, this time a review of this sick card, Casemiro of the Freeze promo. I had bought Torreira Freeze but I said he would be the only one that I would get of this promo at the moment, but I didn’t expect that I would pack this beast in one of the two ultimate packs of icon swaps, also I would recommend you to do that, insane value and a chance to pack one of this cards!. At first I wasn’t so sure, because I thought Varane was better. I clearly had no idea of what I was saying, he is miles better than Varane, his stats look good, but in game he is even better, He is fast, he has great passing and dribbling for a CB. And defending he won’t disappoint you at all, he literally defends by himself plus he will destroy every attacker of your opponent with that sick Phisicality

Ea upgraded a lot of pace to Casemiro and with shadow he has 88 Pace, but for me it even felt like more, he has something special, I would dare to say he is one of the best CBs at the moment. Him and Torreira Freeze will cause lots of nightmares to your opponent with that defending.
Shooting 7/10
I know it’s not so necessary to talk about his shooting because he is a CB, but he even has decent long shots and scored 2 Greta goals for me. He is not Koeman but if you have an opportunity to shoot with him, don’t doubt doing it.

His passing is also amazing and it is something that I really like as I used to give the ball to my opponents because my defenders didn’t make good passes, but that is over, he has an amazing passing for a CB plus he will make good long passes too.

Its not the best dribbling but not bad at all, he controls great the ball, yeah he hasn’t got the best agility or balance but has more than so,e of the best defenders and his reactions are really good

I was really amazed with how well he defended, I have used Varane, Van dijk and IF Ramos and I can tell you his defending is of other world, he is the best defender I have used, he will intercept everything, every stat except heading and def awareness with 99. And his Phisicality really helps a lot so he will be even better at defending

He is the perfect defender, fast, defends godly and he is really strong. He will not only reach every attacker but also body every attacker, it makes his defending even better and Wilma even have to effort to destroy your opponent
I packed him untradeable, he went in my team, he never left it.
He offers something NO other defender I have used does, an absolute stone wall that cannot be bounced through.
You know what I mean, when the ball the glues to Mbappes feet and he runs through you like a knife through butter. Well, I can honestly say hand on heart this does not happen with this guy.
His defensive positioning borders on that of clairvoyance. Hes in the spirit world, he knows where the striker is going before they do.
He makes unreal last ditch challenges, hes a pure monster in the air.
Sure if he gets caught on the turn he might not get back in time, but lets be honest, how man defenders actually can? and this is only if hes caught out of position which almost never happens.
BUY THIS CARD, hes better than any icon ive used, blanc, rio, vidic.
He can be tricky to link, I play him on 8 chem with Shadow and i cant tell the difference from 10 and for 400K thats an absolute steal, BUY NOW
Got lucky and packed him in the 83 x 25 pack. Put him next to mendy and joe gomez in my squad and what a player he has been ever since. With his pace upgrade to 78 i decided to keep him at CB. He might be the best CB I´ve ever used in terms of defending. He simply wins so many 1vs1 cleanly. He bullies him opponents around all the time. Don´t worry about "only" 78 pace or his 62 agility. It doesn´t hurt him. You put a shadow on him and he´s just fine even though i press very high in 442. The 77 passing is also plenty good enough for a CB. The only major con is that he´s still pretty expensive at 400k and you can certainly argue that he´s not that much better than varane for 200k. However, i think his 90+ defending and physical just makes him outstanding.
After a long time of looking for a new defender to replace my Rttf Koundé I bought him and I can say that he is crazy good. He seems way more fast than his stats say (He played with a Shawdow) and his defensive and physical stats are even better. I can totally recommend him if you can afford him and if you don't want to pay 1 million for an Icon wich plays pretty similar. But if you want to buy him you should know that he hasn't good accelaration but he is going to get the attacker later on.

I have decided that I must write this review as I have been disproved by this man so many times that it isn't even funny anymore. Disclaimer: I am a Real Madrid fan but I am very aware of the meta and how this game forces us to play in order for us to win any games. So taking one look at Casemiro's acceleration should tell you this man is not it, he will never work at centerback, just stick to 7 chemistry Yuri Berchiche right? Absolutely wrong. This man's positioning is some of the best I've seen of any defender in this game and I have UCL Live Varane as well as TOTY Ramos. He will position himself perfectly in every pass, every through ball and cut the ball out EVERY TIME. I recommend this man with all my heart, and I am glad that I have a useable Casemiro card for once that actually rivals his performance in real life.
Perfect as a center CB in a 3 back formation
Positioning carries his lack of acceleration and he'll always make the perfect tackle to get rid of the ball.
I trust him against any ball rolling attacker in the game
If you get caught on the counter, this man is probably not gonna catch the striker who got sent with a through ball so ensure you have a pacey CB to make up for his weakness in this area.
Honestly not many more cons other than that, he's a top class CB and genuinely plays the way he does in real life for Real Madrid
After switching around my squad a lot and wanting to try different players, my eye fell on this card. 400k off course is a lot (my most expensive non-UT player) but he would fit very nicely alongside varane and his stats seemed promising. Sadly though he's not the one for me. He just always kinda fell short. His 83 acceleration (with shadow) definitely isn't bad, but it also isn't really that great and in the box i felt he was always just a tad too slow.
His physicality was really great though. This guy is a tank for 90 or even a 120 minutes and he is strong enough to fend anyone off.
Most disappointing was his defending though. With that shadow his boosted stats seemed amazing, but really, they didn't feel like it. His sliding tackles felt really good but his standing tackles were just not there. Every challenge felt like a gamble and he missed balls i expected him to get. Maybe it had got to do with his positioning but he often felt just not quite there...
All and all, he's definitely not a bad CB, but just not worth 400K, buy Gimenez rulebreaker for 200k less who feels like a better CB and is a lot cheaper.
