Oh man.. remember that Bolasie Flick? Yes, THAT one. For those of you that dont know, the Bolasie flick, the currently 5* SM in FIFA, was INVENTED by this dude. Thrashing defenders irl and, now, in FUT 21, lets get into the monster:
PACE-86
Not the quickest, plus with his heavy frame and tall build he will seem slower, but for the nostalgia and as a CAM, why not?
SHOOTING-85
85 Shooting is something i took for granted by the end of FUT 20, but as the year restarts i am reminded how much difference 85 Shooting makes on a card. He's quite clinical and strong on his shots, so no complaints there!!
PASSING-80
Not bad, but then its not ideal for a CAM, so either use Hunter and play him as ST or apply Catalyst or engine and use him at CAM
DRIBBLING- 84
He doesn't look like it, but he's actually pretty decent in the box. Of course, being 6'+ means you can win headers and slap VVD's away, but then it means no bridges over a tackling CBs legs, you'll go down quite ungracefully as well

Long objectives
Pretty Solid Card, His shooting is as powerful as a cannon and can bang shots in from long distances, His passing is not the best for a CAM which can be a slight downfall if you do not use the right chem style. His dribbling is quite solid but can feel clunky at times. I played him at central CAM in a 4-2-3-1, and he performed quite well. In conclusion, He is a decent card but there’s better options.

First of all, he is one the funnest card I have used this year. The 5 star skills mean he is in my opinion better than players like haalands inform. He has similar stats, but most importantantly has 5 star skills which, i use a lot. Haaland cant he even do a rainbow flick. Moving onto his stats, he actually feels very quick, but is a bit slower due to his agility. He gives the physical presence tin the box that players like martial and ben yedder don't for me. He is there to head in a ball all of the time. I don't feel his weak foot either, whatever foot i shoot on it tends to go in because of how powerful the shots can be. His dribbling isn't brilliant but its good enough. One thing i have also struggled with this year is to find a striker who can actually pass a ball. He can drop back into midfield in 4231 allowing my CAM's to get forward.

I never usually do too many objective players in FIFA, but as soon as I saw Bolasie's card I knew that I had to complete him. At first, I used him with a hunter chemistry style, but I switched to the engine and haven't looked back. The engine chemistry style gives him decent passing for a CAM, as well as 91 pace and 90 dribbling. I personally use him as the right attacking midfielder in the 4-5-1 formation, and this upgrade in passing lets him play through balls to my striker (POTM Haaland) with ease
As the title of my review may suggest, he is extremely fun to use in game, and the combination of pace, shot power, height, 5*SM and physicality just provide the joker to the batman of everyone else's teams - Virgil Van Dijk. As the creator of the Bolasie flick, he completes it with ease and it has helped me to score multiple game-winning goals in Division Rivals.

Hard to Link in Hybrid Teams
I did this objective relatively quickly- I also did bellerin at the same time. It wasn't as easy as icon swaps as people dont leave after one goal, but still, quite alot of people let me score goals in return for me to let them get their objectives done. I have used him for 10 games now off the bench, with 3 in the starting eleven in managerial masterpiece (to finish bellerin), and I do like him.
Pace- 8/10- Cant really go wrong with 86 pace and an engine/hunter. He does feel like he has 91 pace with an engine on him, and his agility/balance doesn't affect it.
Shooting- 7/10- Other than shot power, his shooting stats look average, but they're slightly better than what they look like. His finishing is much better than what it should be, and his long shots are also very good. Other than that, nothing too special.
Passing- 7/10- Does the job. Not much else to say other than it is decent, and not as bad as some others' that Ive tried before.
Dribbling- 7/10- Mixed emotions overall for dribbling. Even though he has his positives, like dribbling itself, and even his composure, his agility is questionable. Dont play him as a winger.
Defending- N/A- Irrelevant.
Physical- 8/10- Tank. Bullies varane and gomez, and 5* skills help too. Stamina is OK but not great.

he's shocking if I'm being honest... thank god he was free. he's just clunky, his shooting is average and he literally cannot pass. the only consolation with this card is 5 star skills and strength.
- 5* skills
- physical - he wins some headers and is very strong
- he's free so I haven't wasted any coins on him
- shooting is average at best
- passing is totally inaccurate
- he's really clunky
So here's the thing guys, im the type of guy that enjoys big body players, especially at the striker position. I feel like this card ticks all the boxes on what I want my man leading the frontline to be: tall, strong, fast, explosive, high low workrates, good shooting, good skills and at least decent at passing the ball. Lets start with size, the guy isnt super tall at 6'1, but because he has a stocky body he looks massive out there, super imposing player even when up against big defenders, he wont get pushed around by anyone, he's built like a truck. Also, with his 88 jumping and 85 heading he is a target on set pieces and corners and is dangerous at heading crosses in open play. Throw a Hawk on him and he will honestly be like CR7 out there in the air, but I dont recommend it because his volleys would be a liability you would notice if you were crossing the ball a lot. Now lets talk about pace, 86 isn't good enough obviously, but thats ok because the Hunter chemstyle fits him perfectly, he will have 93 accelaration 99 sprint speed (and will make his volleys good at a solid 84, nullifying the only weekness he has in the shooting department). Couple his pace with his fantastic work rates, and he will get in behind frequently and when he does, its game over, because even if they catch up he has the strenght and size to keep the defenders behind him. His shooting is cracked for me, you can really feel the 99 shot power, he shoots cannon balls with either foot so I dont really waste many chances with him, but his finess shots can be questionable with his left foot, since he only has a 3 star wf and not the best composure (80). His dribbling isnt good enough to play him on the wing imo, he feels a little bit clunky like you would expect from a bigger player, but still better than other strikers with a similiar build, plus the 5 star skills will give you the versatility to get a quick elastico or rainbow to create some space to let that cannon ball fly. His passing isnt fantastic when you compare him to other CAMs, but honestly its pretty clear he isnt one, this guy is a striker, period, and for a striker, his passing is above average, allowing you to do quick 1-2s or feed your wingers/other striker through balls. Compare him to guys like Lewandowski, Haaland, Lukaku, Kane and those type of true strikers and all of them are weak in one of the areas I mentioned above, Bolasie is the most well balanced in the tall striker group of guys.
Considering he is a free card, its not even a question you should have him in your club. There is only one player that he reminds me off, when you think of a player that is big, strong, an aerial threat, fast, good finisher, 5 star skiller, decent passer and high low work rates, who do you think of? Im telling you, Bolasie is the poor mans CR7, of course CR7 is much better, but Bolasie is the only player in the game that can replicate his skillset and size without you having to spend a dime. Super fun, super effective, super cheap, his name is Bolasie, and he isnt a CAM or a winger like I have seen in other reviews, BOLASIE IS A STRIKER.
- Big and strong, his stocky body makes him look taller than he is.
- Aerial threat. Great Jumping for a tall player and good heading with decent agression make him dangerous at the end of crosses.
- Good shooting, his shot power is elite.
- 5 star skiller and decent overall dribbling stats for a big guy.
- Great passing for a striker. Wont mess up easy passes and can hit teammates with some dimes from through balls (have not really tested his crossing much but e has good crossing stats so shouldn't be a liability there).
- High low workrates.
- Feels fast enough with a hunter.
- Very fun to use and its a free card, insane value for price.
- Premier league.
- Can feel clunky with the ball since his agility isn't the best.
- Reactions and composure could be better.
- Stamina isnt elite, have a supersub ready to go around the 70th-75th minute.
- Week foot isnt really noticeble when you shoot with power, but it is noticeble on finesse shots.
I play him in central cam in the 4-2-3-1 formation, sadly I was disappointed with his appearances. It says he has 83 agility but he's a mix of Sissoko and Pogba on the ball 'clunky' he turns like a truck. But his strength helps that out a little bit + his 85 ball control which makes it easier to dribble with him.
Good in air, 88 jumping, 6'1, 85 head acc
Sissoko like strength
99 shot power
not a bad crosser, 85 crossing
Not agile enough
Terrible vollies
Bad over the top through balls
He played LAM in game (4-2-2-2)
Being one of my favorite players since FIFA 15 I have had him and his special card in every FIFA which is why I completed him A$AP rocky.
Sadly you can really feel the pace downgrade this year and he is quite a liability which is genuinely painful for me to say
