This is my first time reviewing a player so I apologize if this isn’t up to a great standard. So starting off, I packed him in my red champs rewards a few weeks ago, and while building a premier league team around end of era Rooney, I needed a CDM/CM pairing with gold kante. I said why not give him a go, and WOW, he is a machine. I use him as a balanced attack CM in a 4-4-1-1 with kante as the stay back center mid. I am a Div 3 player, and have used him in 10 matches, bagging himself 1 goal and 5 assists from that role. I kid you not, there was not one time when I made a frustrated remark about Ndidi’s play, it is a safe bet that I will not be removing him from my squad for a very long time. Now Into the stats:
pace: 9/10
I applied the catalyst chem style because his defending stats are already great, and he would be appearing in the attacking third of the pitch. Simply put, his pace is not an issue. He feels at least as fast as kante, and would never be beaten for pace. If you are using him at CDM, it is even less of a nitpick.
shooting: 6/10
sufficient. His shot power could be a bit higher as well as his long shots, but the one goal he scored for me was a weak footed volley from the edge of the 18. But in general, very good for a defensive center mid (Duncan aside).
passing: 9/10
very good stuff here, catalyst is needed if he is playing higher up the pitch, but when it is applied, this man sprays the ball across the pitch like no one’s business.
dribbling: 7/10
this was a very pleasant surprise for me, and I was very impressed with his capabilities on the ball, ranging from ball rolls to very smooth left stick dribbling.
defending: 10/10
this man is a powerhouse, he breaks up the counter attack high up the pitch and stops through balls to the neymars, mbappes, and Ronaldo’s, in the defensive third. Doesn’t get bullied off the ball, and for the most part, hasn’t lost the ball in a 50/50.
physical: 9/10
very similar to kante here, high aggression is absolutely wonderful this year, and ndidi provides that as well as decent stamina and strength. (I had to sub him off a few times because he was running all over the pitch, but it isn’t that big of a deal.)
Pace
passing
Decent dribbling
defending
physical
Sometime shooting
sometimes, but very rarely will lose control of ball while dribbling.
