I HAVE TIME, SO I'M JUST GONNA GO ON THE INTERNET AND FLEX LIKE 95% OF EVERYBODY THAT'S WRITING REVIEWS ON THE SITE. I WAS LUCKY ENOUGH TO PACK THIS GUY AND PUT HIM IN MY TEAM INSTANTLY, HE'S THE CAPTAIN OF THE TEAM, INCREDIBLE PLAYER, AN ABSOLUTE WALL IN DEFENCE.

I can't say anything negative about the card, I absolutely love his work
When I packed IF Valverde two times in a row, I thought it was time for a strong defense. I Bought VVD and Joe Gomez for about 600K just before the start of the WL. The first 10 games did go quit good. I won 9 of them and lost 1 after penalty's. Then the opponents became somewhat stronger. Ben yedder, Rashford, Mbappe, Werner etc. All quick and agile. VVD was the GOAT in the first games against slower players, but he screwed up against the faster ones. Through balls over and over again. He reacted too slow and he was too slow to correct his mistake. Lucky that Joe Gomez had his back. You can currently buy him for 450K which is way too much. Fifa 21 is fast paced so I recommend 80+ pace defenders over VVD.

Kurze Zahlenstatistik: 44 Spiele. 4 Tore (3 oder 4 Eckballkopftore auf den kurzen Pfosten. 3 Gelbe Karten. Chemistry: Shadow. Aufjedenfall den guten Mann Nachts nebenbei untrade gezogen. Erster Gedanke war: ok van dijk. Cool. Nach den ersten Spielen bemerkt wie geisteskrank dieser Typ ist. Groß, schnell beweglich und über die Verteidigung muss man eig gar nicht reden. Der Typ hat so ein unfassbar gutes Stellungsspiel in der Verteidigung und im 1:1 gewinnt der Typ so gut wie immer die Kämpfe. Auch sehr oft bei Kontern hat der typ noch Spieler wie Vardy, Saint Maxim etc. eingeholt. Bei ecken auf den kurzen Pfosten gewinnt er zu 90% das Kopfballduell. Scheitert höchstens am Kopfballabschluss. Kann an sich wirklich nichts schlechtes über van Dijk sagen. Gibt keine Punkte in wo ich sagen könnte, das er schwach ist Genauso die Resonanz von Kollegen die gegen mich gespielt haben. Sehr schwer gegen ihn durchzukommen.
Fazit: wenn ihr die Münzen habt, dann kauft ihn euch. Kaufempfehlung!! Hat auch sogar bis ende Fifa 20 seinen Preis sehr gut gehalten.

When I opened a Two Rare Players Pack and found out I packed VVD I was in awe. At first, I was skeptical about his performances. I personally am used to quick CBs Varane or Carlos. It took a while to get used to him, but after that OMG. Virgil Van Dijk might just be the BEST player in the entire game. He's quick not the quickest but fast enough, great for playing out the back and much like real life, I'm not sure if he's ever been dribbled past. Virgil Van Dijk is just the monster he is in real life. He surprisingly can easily dribble between two players by using his strength, has a great passing range, and impeccable tackling.

i packed him untradable and i think he is a beast but not. Defensively is so good but with mbappe,rashford,felix or neymar he can't work, in my game style he is a bust, this player is based on your gameplay style, if you like players like ramos, vidic, hierro or any defender under 80 pace i recommend you, if you like player like klostermann ucl, varane, ferdinand, joe gomez, carlos alberto then not

Packed Kenny Dalglish really early on and was blessed with the 1.5 mil to build a beast of a team this early.
Looked at all the defenders in the Prem and knew VVD was the one I needed to have as my main CB.
Pace: quick enough to catch most, in all fairness if the player has a couple of yards on you, you won't catch them, but if you're level, he'll bully them off the ball with enough pace. Joe Gomez i find is the player to have to catch a player with a couple of yards. VVD typically struggles against anybody with 84-85+ pace - 7/10
Shooting: N/A - Centre back, only scored headers off corners - 5/10?
Passing: good enough, plays a great long over the top through ball. - 7/10
Dribbling: fine, he's not the worst - problem mainly is low agility, don't spend forever on the ball with him, you won't be able to dribble away from the quicker players with him because he turns like a boat - 6/10
Defending: Obviously his best stat, he's a joke. Wins tackles and blocks he has no right to, regularly makes a Wan-Bissaka slide tackle from about 10 yards away and cleanly comes away with the ball. if you want someone who wins tackles and they stay tackled, he is the man. - 10/10
Physical: close second to defending, great in the air, really strong and really aggressive in the tackle. Never had a booking or a red with him despite him absolutely railroading players on the regular with his physical. Scores loads of front post corners with his heading. Stamina is okay but gets tired late on which is not ideal if you're defending a lead. - 10/10
Overall, top defender, I've used majority of the high end current CB's (Haven't delved into icons yet) and he is far and away the best, closely followed by Varane and Joe Gomez.
Negative side, the price. at 400-415k on Xbox he's really expensive this early on, if you've got the coins I'd recommend him but maybe wait until he's cheaper but if you want to try him, he's worth every penny. He won't be leaving my team any time in the near future though that's for sure.

Virgil are a very big and strong cb, that means hes ai blocking is insane.
He is a bit slow but he is super strong and that means he can just body everybody
You must use drop back on your defense if you use him because he is a bit slow.
If you are getting a prem team get him, but if you are not get varane.

He is an absolute cheat code. I'v used IF Gomez, IF Walker and Varane RTTF. His defending is out of this world like no one comes close to his defending. Not even the one I mentioned and those 3 are pretty meta in FIFA 21. He is the complete defender if you can defend with him properly. Someone who presses blindly the standing tackle button cant play with this card and you will be beaten by the OP through balls. My defensive game is so much better thanks to Van Dijk. You will learn how to defend cause you cant make the risk because of his pace. So it is not only a gamechanger for you but he is also for your defending.
Pace: His pace is why people think Van Dijk is worse than for example gold Gomez. Yes he is a bit slow and he wont catch players above 94 pace like Mbappe or Saint Maximin. However he isnt that slow. Use his positioning and he still will catch up.
Shooting: Kinda irrelevant for a defender so it isnt important to take that into this review.
Passing: Best passing for a defender i've used this FIFA. You can feel he is so comfortable on the ball 79 short passing and 86 long passing is all you need. Its not those stats that make his passing so brilliant. The reason why his passing is also phenomenal is that this card has 89 reactions and 90 composure. Thats why his passing is a lot better than other cb's cause he is the only one that have those key stats.
dribbling: As I mentioned by the passing his 89 reactions and 90 composure are so important also for his dribbling stats. Yes he cant dribble like a Neymar or Messi but his dribbling is really good even better than my RTTF Varane I use next to him.
Defending: What can I say. His defending is an actual cheat code. He wins every duel, every header, every one on one. Also his AI blocks are the best in the game. His defending is better than RTTF Varane. Also his headers are insane. He and Cristiano Ronaldo have the best heading in the game. He will win every aerial duel. A
Physical: Just as the defending his physical stats are unbelievable like 90 jumping, 92 strength combined with 83 aggression is so good.
Pace: If you press the standing tackle blindly he won't recover someone like Mbappe if someone gives a through ball. So be careful.
Physical: His stamina isnt the greatest. If you press a lot then you will drain a lot of stamina.
He is the Best Defender he is actually very fast for a CB and he gets the Ball very often. He is Very good for PL Teams.

I packed this guy untradeable and i was in a state of shock. I instantly put him in my team and lets just say it went really well.....NOT!! i conceded way more goals with this guy in but at times my flashback aguero was able to bail vvd out. Overall he is terrible and the type of defender to concede 5+ goals a game which has happened to me nearly every game with Van disaster in defence.
PACE- felt extremely slow and ket getting outpaced by virtually everyone.
