Ok so basically this guy is the real deal, I have played over 200 games with him and he has saved me so many times. I have him because I have defenders from different leagues so it was easier for me to buy him for his easy links for now and when I upgrade my center backs I will not have to worry to change the GK. The reason I am writing this review is to advise anyone to buy this card instead of doing the Van Der Sar SBC since hes so much better.
Pros: Insane reflexes, wins 80% of 1v1s, makes big saves at end of games which seems to be the easiest time to score in this FIFA
Cons: Only thing he concedes the most is chip shot but it may be my personal fault because I take him out a lot when I shouldn't
After doing the MLS Foundations milestones, I wanted to try out a new defense with Opara and Long. With no good MLS GK, I decided to pick up Base Yashin to give normal links to my defense and see what the Black Spider has to offer. After playing a Weekend League with him, he's definitely the best Base Icon GK that I've used. Like a real spider, he just crawls around in his box and is able to get to many shots. He definitely can make saves that popular goalies like Pope can't. There were some flaws in that his short height meant he was very susceptible to chip shots and his kicking isn't as spectacular compared to top goalies in Ederson or Ter Stegen. He also isn't gonna save absolutely everything as there were many times my defense failed and he was just left with no chance to make a good save. Lastly, his price is a lot for a goalie. All in all, Yashin was a really good goalie and is probably the best icon goalie in my opinion. He's definitely worth a try if you need the links such as in my case with Opara and Long.
PS: He sadly doesn't get his hat. Only his Prime Icon Card has it
Reflexes

Very Good In His Box
NO HAT :(
Height

Not the Fastest Rushing Out of Goal
Sometimes Gives Up Easy Goals (Most good goalies in this game do that though)
i got him on my base icon pack and in the first place i was dissapointed but whan you play with him more than a 150 games you are actually happy that you get him.
he is 6"2 which is a liitle short for a goalkepper but he is still amazing, his the kepper with the best reflax and diving from whan i started to play, and he has a amazing kicking, if you need a kepper that cost around 300k coins buy him.
Worst keeper I have used this fifa. Pope is 10x better. I packed him from my base icon pack and was disappointed but I was hoping he would at least be usable. I have used him for over 80 games due to chemistry reasons and he is absolutely horrible. Save your coins.
