Player Review
88 - FUT Future Stars SBC
Haven't done a futbin review before but I had to share light on this card. Been playing in D1 since October with base wijnaldum and base bruno as my CMs, using a team with most prem players doesn't give you many options in a B2B, they're expensive. After missing out on FF Firmino and POTM Bruno, I needed a pl B2B player and this card is it. He's a future starts and usually, the community is sketchy about them because they lack the animations and real game stats to back up their written states. But this guy is different, he's a crazy passer with 4* 4*, High/High work rates, 6'1 height which gives him a presence in the midfield, and his physicality is wow. I gave him the guardian chem style to max out his dribbling and defending. I'll go to his breakdowns now.
Pace:
He isnt a speed demon obviously but he can chase a man down. I didn't give him any pace attributed chem style and he always chased down the players down the middle. Wide players are usually pacey so don't expect him to catch players like Lozano. Give him a shadow and I'm sure he'd catch anyone.
Shooting:
He's a CM, so I'd assume long shots and positioning are what you'd want to know about his shooting. He has good long shots and the shot power really comes in clutch. He makes intelligent runs, breaking lines forward as a real B2B CM should. His finishing is decent but if you put power in that shot, the gk gonna be shaking.
Passing:
This guy is an O.G. passer. Curtis Pirlo even. through balls, long passes, and short passes are too easy for this guy, too easy. 93 vision 96 short passing and 88 long passing. Unless you already have a crazy passer, I'm sure he'll be the best passer on your team. His crossing is also okay but his midfield playmaking is the highlight of this card.
Dribbling:
SURPRISINGLY, he isn't as clunky as I expected. 4* skills and 84 agility really helping this guy, I gave him guardian to max out his balance, ball control, and dribbling. I see my b2b as a dm who can really contribute to the attack. Kante moves well but he does not move as well as this card. This guy sat down varane and toty vvd. If you really know how to dribble, you will enjoy his Gullit-type physique in the midfield. He has poor reactions, so far this is the only issue I've come across with him, His reactions aren't as sharp as the likes of mbappe and messi who have crazy reactions, you have to be reactive when using him, so he wont be caught slacking.
Defending:
Another highlight in this card. Give him a shadow and he can deffs play CB. I slide tackle a lot in the midfield with him, he's a good marker and interceptor, 6'1 with long legs, high defensive work rate, defending stats, and agility. He's winning the ball 9/10 times.
Physical:
He can jump, he is strong, he has 91 aggression and 90 stamina. what else needs to be said?
Overall, I wouldn't do this card unless you need him in your pl/English team. Other leagues have good b2b options that are cheaper and tradeable. Still, a very good B2B I must admit
- crazy passer
- fast for a b2b/dm
- 4* wf, 4* sm
- long shots, positioning, high attacking wr
- high defensive wr/stats
- immense physical presence
- pl/english links
- his dribbling isn't meta
- poor reactions
