Player Review
95 - TOTS
Where to start, this disappointment begun with Haaland's POTM 90 rated card a while back. He had the best combination of shooting, physical, and pace stats on his card, just like this one. However, the price of the SBC was suspiciously low (Around 350K) where CR7 was about 1.1 million in comparison. This strange price was a lowkey representation of what should be expected from the card itself. Same as his POTM, this TOTS is not playing like his stats show. His pace is similar to Drogba Prime icon / Mane's gold rare cards. His physical is great, but for some reason, your average Varane can sweep the ball off his feet clean. His dribbling is alright, if you have one defender facing you, you might be able to bully past them, but incase you are facing a 5 defender team, a team using LBs and RBs for CBs, or have two fast CBs, then Haaland is pretty much useless. Not only that, but his low passing also means your other attackers will not be supplied with the ball most of the time. His shooting is honestly good. One on one with keepers is not an issue, long shots aren't a problem. But the issue is If he is playing in a two ST formation, and you have him go wide, then the lack of finesse shot trait, outside shot trait, and the 3* weak foot will let you down. I managed to struggle for 11 goals and 6 assists in 30 games whereas his partner Puskás scored 28 goals and 5 assists. His stamina might be 99 but his constant reliance on physical strength tires him out much faster.
If you can't comprehend how all this translates onto the pitch, just compare his card stats to the price tag of 900K. Surely, a card with such stats would not be priced at that if it performed well.
