This is just depressing, this downgrade was completely undeserved. Vardy didn't have a good season last year, but a 7-point deduction for scoring 6 goals last season instead of 17 goals in 2021/22 is a harsh penalty.

Yeah but scoring 35% as many goals and getting relegated when you're hitting your later thirties is sending EA some signals they aren't going to gloss over. He had a flashback card in 23, it'll be sad if his End of an Era card is in the Championship (though hopefully all special cards will be premium or chemistry will be gone altogether by the time he retires).
