Seen so many negative comments on this card's page, but decided to get it anyway, and I DEFINITELY DON'T REGRET IT! Clearly those commenting either didn't bother trying the card, or getting the card, or just can't play the style suited to it. Sturridge has electric pace, great finishing and is always in the right place when needed. Great in the air, great from low crosses and the 2 star week foot is not important due to the 'outside foot shooting' trait. I was surprised they gave him 84 strength, so with the marksman chem he's up to 89 and is therefore great at holding the ball up and linking play too due to the decent enough control and passing stats. I think for about 100k (unless you have the players needed stored like I did), he's a steal. I use him in a Bundesliga team, his only link is POTM Sancho, but even with only 8 chem, he's quality!!!

I got this card cause i saw his sbc saw the packs and i was like ok might aswell get him i got him for like 70 k and packed hummels so basically 30k for this monster of a player. So first game i noticed how quick he was. He was so fast of the mark beating players left right and center. Now his Finishing is something spectacular at least on his left :) but nevertheless lest talk about that weakfoot alot of people don't look at the card because of that and the stamina but i can honestly say that the stamina is not an issue since he has med/low workrates so he just stays in postition ready to make a run. i had him in some ET where in the 120th minute he was making runs like it was the 1st minute of the game. The fact that hes got 4* skills makes it so much easier to find and create space for that left foot. His heading and jumping is fantastic scoring corner after corner. So i total i think this is a card that was worth getting and if you missed out on him tough luck.
Pace - He's FAST AF
Finishing - On his left he's as good as Maradona
Heading - He is only 5'11'' but his jumping and heading stats make up for it.
Dribbling - His dribble is very close and collected
Passing - Short passes and through balls very good on either foot.
Stamina - Very rarely for me personally this is a con but i do notice that if i go into ET hell be dying sometimes
Weakfoot - His weakfoot is his biggest downside although he has Outside The Boot shot which makes it less noticable
We are back in time with this card, this card remaind me a lot to Fifa 14 and fifa 15 when this player was so dope, the price of the Sbc is arround 140-150K of coins who is a cheap price for this beast.
This new flasback card is so OP, in terms of pace this player is nice and he can overpass rivals defences making a 1-2 with your CAM or with your striker because he is very fast.
In terms of shooting this Sturridge is so dope, is a beast when he shoots with power he don´t miss much chances, its a total predator on the box, he finish on target all the chances he has.
In terms of phisicality the 82 of strenght for striker is a nice atribute to fight with the rival defences, the 72 of stamina is not a problem because this guy will have score 2 or 3 goals before minute 75-80 when he will be tired.
The only bad thing of this Sturridge its the 2 stars on weak foot despite of this this card is one of the most OP card in the whole game
Conclusion: As i write in the begin we recover a beast of another fifa´s, its a monster and his price is not a problem, its a great alternative of Lukaku IF or Harry Kane IF keeping the distances.

I am a casual player who likes to get challenged (elite one level player in squad battle mode). I had Aubameyang (POTM) and Jesus as strikes in 4-4-2 formation and I wanted to try a higher rated striker. I have tried Lukaku and Kane along with Aubaeyang and finally settled on Sturridge. Mind you, when EA is offering you POTM or flashback players, they are usually special ones (if their stats are good). I was in two mind, first, to get this SBC done or second, buy Kane. I had few players in my squad so this card cost me £100K top whereas Kane was cheaper than £100K.
My concern was lower stamina (72) and poor balance (69). So, I got the SBC completed and ohh boy, I am glad that I have done it.
This player has transformed my front line. The first thing you will notice about him is his paces, making runs and appearing at the right place at right time. He was man of the match for his first three matches. He is fast, he is aerial threat and pairs up well with Aubameyang. Keep him on the front RIGHT and he will put the balls in, no matter what! He has played 14 games and scored 20 goals so far which is > one goal / game. This has made me write this review as this player deserve praise and thanks to EA to create his card.
I used Sniper chemistry to complement his attributes and ended up with finishing (99), positioning (92), agility (90), balance (74), Reactions (90), ball control (92), dribbling (96) and composure (93). He keeps the ball well, dribble really well and finish anything you give him around and inside the box. His first touch finish and finesse shots are out of the world. Mind you, he uses the outer edge of the foot as well.
Now, low star weak foot. Is this a concern? I have not noticed it in all honesty. Stamina reading is false as Aubameyang and him both finishes 90 minutes easily. In last 10 minutes both are tired however both make runs as they do in the first minute.
I have played with Lukaku and Kane and I found Sturridge better than both, especially dribbling and finishing.
I will personally give him 10/10. He is a special card and if you can finish this SBC around £100, then its definitely worthy. You will not get him again!

One day he plays like a god, the other day struggles to score, it says he has high strength but he feels weak against defenders like van Dijk or Godin.
He is f**king rapid tho, left foot finishing is amazing, finesse shots with his strong foot are out of this world.
Right foot finishing can be good sometimes, but don"t expect him to score.
His dribbling feels okay, but he seems a bit lanky.

I havent written a review for a while because I didnt feel that this game is worth playing, but I decided to make another review. This time for this unbelievable BPL striker.
He just simply have everything you need from striker. He is great in the box and outside of box. He can pass, he can head, he can run fast, he can even dribble past defenders because his 80 agility is lie. He is so good header even he is 180cm tall because of his 99 jumping with hawk chemistry.
He is just that old Daniel Sturridge from season 2013/14. Nobody can stop him, he ist just best striker I ever had and for 100k its freaking steal.

I was creating a new fut champs team and needed a liverpool cam to start at striker to give my mo salah chem. I was about to purchase Firmino but I was hit by the revelation that i could use Studge there. So rather gingerely I completed the SBC and since then he has caused havock in champs helping me to a 18-12 finish. His stats 12 games 6 goals 6 assists don't do justice to the runs and passes he plays for me. So worth it!

He's good, he actually is, and compared with other premier league strikers i think he could be the best. I used him on a marksman chem style in 4-3-2-1 as ST. His finishing is absolutely insane, his shot power is off the scale and he is almost a guaranteed goal, if it's on his left foot. The 2 star week foot is the downfall of this card, don't shoot with his right peg whatever you do!
His passing and dribbling is a bit hit and miss. He can play some fabregas level balls but then at times he feels like Manolas, but for a striker i'd say his passing is good.
His dribbling is the same, as you can see his balance is low at 69 and i think thats where the problem lies, at times he can turn with ease and bypass the likes of Ramos and Varane like they weren't there, but only if he's already had his first touch.
His first touch is out of this world, as in the ball will leave planet earth it's that bad, it's like he has a trampoline on his foot, even though his ball control is quite high, it's lying to you. This is my main problem with Sturridge and it's probably cost be lots of important goals.
His heading was insane to begin with, with a marksman he has 99 jumping, but recently he's been hitting the post a lot and not even winning the headers. He's probably scored upwards of 30 goals from corners which is quite nifty.
Physically he's ok, he can withstand some challenges, but he falls over like a little girl sometimes due to his low balance.
I think this has been more negative than it should because he's been a quality striker for me and scored almost 300 goals for me. Also i forgot to mention his Sbc cost like 30k for me so deffo worth it.

Forgive me for taking so long to review Sturridge as the SBC is obviously no longer available, but this is a pretty decent card for the price. 88 rated Sturridge has played over 110 games for me, and has scored almost 150 goals. This is a fantastic return imo, and he's gonna lead my team for a bit longer.
Shooting: I have a marksman chem style on him, giving him 93 att position, 99 finishing, 93 shot power, 94 long shots & 88 volleys. Get it on his left foot, and it's most likely a goal.
Heading: Sturridge has scored sooooo many corners for me. I use KDB to take them, and his near post delivery combined with Sturridge's heading = 85% goal from corners. This obviously applies to crosses in general with his 99 jumping.
Strength: With my chem style, he has 91 strength coupled with his 92 dribbling and 92 ball control, he's incredible at weaving past defenders. 85 agility does let him down tho.
Weak foot is definitely a problem for Sturridge. This applies a lot more in weekend league when gameplay sucks, and there's button delay. You wanna be unpredictable and clinical with your chances. He prefers using his stronger foot, but he's definitely gonna miss a few with his right foot.
Well what can I say about this card. I was playing my weekend league when this Flash SBC came onto the game. At first I thought the card looked deadly but the 2* weak foot and stamina put me off and I decided not do it and carried on with FUT champs. When it came to Monday I decided to sell my Lukaku and do the SBC as I didnt want to miss out on the card, baring in mind of the bad comments. I can say I am so glad I did this as he is the best ST i have played with so far. I paid 110k to complete the SBC and the price for what you get is INSANE!!!!! His curving trait makes his 2* weak foot not noticeable, and he finds it hard not to miss the goal. The speed and strength of Sturridge is the best ive played with from the start of this FIFA and I have played with many Strikers around the same price mark and higher and no one can come near his work rate. Stamina wise is prob the only downfall but he last really well to around the 70th min.
