After earning 21-eternity tokens, I have the chance to try this amazing card. First I was afraid because I couldn´t find any review about this player but I play my odds and well I´m happy with the result. He feels like Messi, his dribbling is amazing and feels you get pretty much every 1 vs 1 despite of his strength because it is compensated with his dribbling (every stat over 90 with engine), also he feels faster than 88 and his acceleration is pretty good, with the combination of that dribbling and pace is very easy to break the teams that have a close defence and low deep. another important aspect is his shoot and guys let me say that it´s incredible with both feet, shoots missiles and the finesse shoot is amazing. I played him as a cam in div 2 and in 14 games I scored 11 goals and 2 assists. for everything that I said before I would recommend that you get the 21 tokens and them get this god.

I took this card from the FutSwaps, I thought it was going to be a bad idea because of the low pace (for this meta), but I did it regardless because I really like the player.
Basically, this card as a CAM is simply amazing, he is able to link up the play very well as well as shoot from distance when there is no other option.
The pace can be a problem, but if you're taking him as a CAM you won't even notice it.
I love that there have been so many games where Mbappe would hit the post and Hagi would clutch the game at the end with an out of the box stunner, he is always reliable when it comes to scoring, almost as reliable as his passing is.
The stamina is a very delicate status for this card, I play him as a CAM in a 4231 narrow, and I have instructed him to stay forward, so the Stamina is not a problem for me in this specific format, but if you are planning to use him as a RAM or a LAM you may find yourself in need of a sub especially if the match is going longer than 90 minutes.
The 4 star WF is a problem ONLY when shooting from outside the box, I don't know why, I'm in a perfect position, I take the shot and the ball flies like a ballon suffering from depression, but other than that, his right foot is amazing, when passing or shooting from inside the box you won't even notice the difference between the left and the right foot.

Shooting - AMAZING Bangers in every game, give this man 1 second free of pressure, and he will score, no question about it. Inside or outside the box
Free Kicks - If you even slightly know how to take free-kicks Hagi will do the rest. I used to take mine with Neymar and I would score 1/4 with Hagi is more like 3/4 which is insane really
4*/4* - As mentioned earlier the WF is only weak when taking longshots, other than that, it's impeccable.
Dribbling - I have put this last because of the 86 Agility and 84 Ballance, he is still very agile, but you would expect him to be even more so than he actually is.
Stamina - Unless used as specified above in the review
Pace - I use a Hunter on him, and as a CAM 93 pace is more than enough, even though it sais 93, he will feel slower. but then again for a CAM it's perfect
Links - You won't be able to have any truly good players strong-linked to him due to his nation
Position - Due to the very specific stats of this card, playing him anywhere else other than CAM will result in him having a lower impact on the game
Oh no, what have i done? I have spent countless hours getting these Icon Swaps players only to spend them on Hagi, and he's useless? What have I done? FIFA is ruined! And then BAM, I wake up from this horrible dream, turn on my XBOX and begin to play with my Prime Icon Gheorghe Hagi, and a persistently amazed at how incredible he is. He has the best shot of anybody i have used so far this fifa, the most agile (or Hagile, get it?) player I have ever used, the best dribbler and passer... the list goes on. After 13 games of a weekend league he has averaged over a goal and assist a game, I cannot reccomend this guy enough

This Card Is insane. I got him a couple of days ago and he's insane. I put a sniper chem style on him to boost his agility and finishing. He is pretty quick, his long shots are amazing, he doesn't miss a pass and his dribbling is insane. I used his as a Center CAM in my 4231 and he's a beast. I was previously using Lucas Moura there and although he's not bad, Hagi is 10 times better. I have also used If Ben Yedder on a friend's account and believe me, he's a BEAST but Hagi is on another level. His passing, shooting, pace and Dribbling are on a whole other level. If you're worrying about his stamina and/ or pace, don't worry. His medium work rate on attack makes him not waste his energy as badly.

First of all, i am romanian and i want this card in my team, he is the best romanian player of all time.
I used Engine on him in 4-2-3-1 as a Central CAM.
The best thing about him is his passing:Short Passing 97, Long Passing 98, Vision 94, he is a passing machine.
He dribble like Messi, good Agility, Good Balance(with engine)
In the penalty area he misses to much for an Icon with his stats, but he finished every finesse or power shot between 16-25 meters with a goal.
I think him or Zannetti are the best Choice for a team between mid november and late february.

By the time I had to pick my Icon Swap card, I really hesitated between Hagi and Gerrard. I finally took Hagi because I most needed a fast Cam with excellent finishing that could play both as central CAM or wide CAM, as I often change tactics in game between 41212-2, 4231 and 4222.
After 150 games played with my new Icon, almost exclusively in Rivals and Futchamps, all I can say is that I am 100% satisfied with my choice.
Chem Style :
At first I slapped an engine card on him and that made him dribble like Messi, but i found he didn't produce enough offensively. The main downside was his weakness. He got bullied and pushed away too easily by defenders, in my opinion.
So, I decided to give him a hawk card, in order to boost his strenght, is offensive positionning and his shooting. The result was immediate. He could protect the ball better,, His runs into the box are perfect and his finishing is top notch, no matter which foot he uses. His dribbling and passing remains excellent, almost perfect.
Since then, he never stopped producing goals and assists.
Best Position :
I noticed his best position is as central CAM. He has enough pace to play as wide CAM in a 4231, although he's not as fast as speedy wingers (as costa, dembele, pepe, pulisic, saint maximin...), but he will not have the same impact as in more central positions. Maybe because of his workrates and his stamina. He's better in a "organizer" role, where he distributes the ball all over the pitch, combines with attackers using quick 1-2 and delivers deadly through balls.
Overall Appreciation :
100% worth the effort to get the Icon Swap Tokens. He has been a game-changer for me and he's very reliable game after game.
He has everything you want from an end-game midfielder : top-class passing, dribbling, finishing and good pace.
His only cons are his lack of stamina and his workrates that don't make him the best option in wider positions.
- Consistency : Never has an game off.
- Perfect passing : short, long, throught balls, even in tight angles, will go all the way to your attackers. Has great vision too., he's a great playmaker.
- Dribbling/Agility/Ball control : very agile, he dribbles "Messi-style", the ball always sticks to his feet. That makes him very hard to tackle .
- Finishing : he fires bangers from both feet. If he's on his left foot it's a 90% goal chance
- Offensive positionning / runs : makes deadly runs into the box , which most of the time end up with a goal
- Chip shots: they are out of this world (he managed to score some of them from 25 meters out, as if it was an easy tap-in).
- Stamina : it's very rare when he ends a game with more than 50% stamina, even with conservative instructions.
- Strength : can be bullied by opponents, but it's ok with hawk style and his agility and reactions help him a lot to keep the ball away from the defenders
- Workrates : prevent him from performing at 100% in wider positions, but are OK if you keep him in a central position
- Defending : Doesn't defend for me, as I instruct him not to do so, in order to save a bit of stamina.
Let’s make it simple. Hagi is an uncut gem. You should take advantage of his price, he’s a bargain because if you check his stats you we’ll be amazed.
With Maestro he becomes absolutely the brain of the operation. Good pace, great longshots and positioning, amazing vision along with outstanding short and long passes, and in technical features he’s as good as that, an specialist in agility, ball control, reactions, dribbling and composure.
The cherry in the cake are his many resources, 4 skills stars, 4 weak foot stars, he makes volleys, he takes penaltis and free kicks and he shots with great curve. A player from another world, 100% recommended.
Amazing in almost every aspect in shooting and dribbling, a completely genius passing the ball. All this along his long list of resources I listed before.
His pace and finishing might feel a little low in some situations. He’s obviously not a physical player (not great aggression and strength) and his stamina is definitely very low (In FUT Champs I get him out in 4 out of 5 matches)
I got Hagi from swaps because I didnt want to be boring and take Rio or Zanetti, I thought Butra would easily be replaced so I went for hagi. No one really talks about him and he has some sick stats. He went 28 games, 26 goals and 24 assist leading me to my first gold 1 finsish. His passing and build up play is so amazing, all my attack went through him and he never misplaced a pass. He feels quiet quick but not rapid. His finishing is really good, inside the box it was above average but not nuts(like neymar) 8.5/10. Outside the box is where he comes alive. He has a messi finisse and an absolute ripper. His dribbling is really good not like neyamr or messi when it comes to the quick turns though. His close control is nuts and there is no problem with his reactions or composure. Defending idk lol he doesnt have to defend. His physical is average, stam is out by 75th min but I dont sub him out because his ability to clutch. He doesnt get pushed off the ball easily but I think that is because his ball retention. His work rates werent a problem for me he was getting involved a lot and didnt go missing. He plays like messi and would recommend him any day of the week.
