Thought I'd try him as hes got some well rounded stats. Stuck an Engine on him to get his pace up a little and other parts. He felt very good on the ball and was also good off the ball. He managed to get into the right places when defending and has really good passing meaning he can stick a ball straight up top with great accuracy.
Pace felt fine for the position he is in. Doesn't need blistering pace but had enough to skip past a player or get the ball running for a counter.
Valencia have got Chelsea in next group game and if they draw or win then will go through so this could would then be a mini Gullit if they do.
Overall a very well rounded card that has the potential to be an incredible card.
Defending - made many interceptions and good at winning the ball back from tackles
Shooting - good shots outside the box. force a corner if they don't go in
Passing - really good passing from the deep role to get the ball up the field and also good for quick style play
dribbling - strong composed dribbling meaning you can get out of tight areas and also when winning the ball back you can turn and keep it without getting tackled again
Pace aint amazing but as mentioned doesn't need that due to his position.
physical is not really a strength or weakness as he is in the middle. The bigger players will out-strength him but most of the time he puts up a fight.
DANIEL WASS, may be one of the most underrated midfielders in my opinion, I have not seen much info about him on this website or forums, or haven't heard much praise from youtubers, this may due to many reasons, first of all, he is not the most flashy card in the game, rather, his league. TOTY or OTW De Jong, UCL LIVE Partey, Futmas Vidal, etc. While I have tried everyone from the Laliga except Dutmas Modric, I cannot compare him to everyone directly, because, he has a very unique play style compared to everyone else. Now, I play a 5-2-1-2 in-game, which is not a common formation, but I play him left-cm, or when I play 4-1-2-1-2(2), cdm, which fits him perfectly. I wouldn't recommend playing him at CAM as he lacks the raw agility and balance that most CAM's require. I play the 5-2-1-2 to relieve Wass of some of his defensive duties, because he has such amazing forward explosive power.
Some comparisons to make is to UCL Live Partey, I would say Partey is much more defensive, which is obvious due to his stats, but, he lacks the on ball control or pin-point passing that Wass has, while he may be more physical, he is much less technical, which most players prefer. Another comparison, which is a bit far-fetched, but makes sense to me is FB Paulinho, I believe, while playing with Paulinho, Wass outperformed him by miles, they are similar players in concept, both can attack and are good at tracking and defending. However, Wass just felt better and more secure on the pitch, this may be an unpopular opinion, but I have played over 300 games with FB Paulinho, and just don't enjoy him as much.
IF this card gets upgraded even once, let alone twice after the games soon, he will be an a absolutely GODLY card, his stats won't show much, but his ingame will be an absolute pleasure to play with. I am excited to start playing with this guy. His passing, perfect, defending would get better with the upgrade but is already satisfactory, physical would be a massive help, pace, massive improvement, dribbling will be mental, and last of all, his long shots after corners, nutty. And this comes mostly from the previous 83 card, I am extremely excited for the 86.
