First of all I am playing in div1 and in wl mostly gold 1 or elite 3. I used most of the strikers except CR7 and Dalglish. And honestly, I will tell you just one thing; This guy just score goals, somehow he score goals I don't know how but he scores. This week, at the end of the matches I subbed Maradona 97(loan) for changing the games but even if I try to play with Maradona every time I scored a goal I saw Henrik Larsson making the celebration... This is a guy that is not effective in the game that much but he is always in the right position when you need to score a goal. 4WF feels like 5 WF doesn't matter for Larsson how to score just create him a shooting opportunity. Really really really consistent finishing.
He is agile, his dribbling is not as smooth as neymar or joao felix but still enough to create shooting opportunity. He nearly score every shot when you targeted close side. Just like fifa 20.
Only thing that you need to consider is, he will play shit as hell for the first 12-13 games. Its always same for the ICONS first 12-13 games are shit but after that they start to show off. I also played with 86 larsson he is also amazing but 90 larsson is another level. Just trust him, and just shut your eyes for first 12 games. After that he will just take you to another scoring level.
If you are a guy who constantly doing skill moves like croquetta or scoop turn etc. Larsson is not what you are looking for but if you creating chances by playing the game as it is and agile dribbling then Larsson will solve your problems.
He can outpaced varane and all other fast defenders. Can not be bullied. Just you need to get used to him. His passing is also fine, mostly he doesn't make any mistake but dont expect killer through balls every time.
Suprisingly good at defending he press well and also sometimes I used him to support my midfield he is always good at it.
Ok so before I start this review, please have in mind that this is not a typical meta player and there are several players on the market for a lot cheaper that technically "fits" the meta of this game (Werner, Rashy, ASM and so on). If you want a pure meta striker for the least amount of coins possible, this is not the guy for you and the review will be kind of irrelevant. This one is for all of my homies that don't care about EAs sweat-agenda.
Ok now let's get into the review.
I was looking at my team on thursday for the upcoming weekend league and came to the conclusion that I am completely fed up with Neymar. Don't get me wrong, he's been solid af, but around this time of year on every FIFA I stop caring about the meta and go full fun mode instead. I hopped on FUTBIN to initially find a replacement LM, but I couldn't find one that I liked. After opening the base/mid icon and getting Schweinsy (who's actually a monster box to box LCM with a shadow) I decided that I wanted a new central player instead. I remembered how sick prime Larsson was in FIFA 18, and me being swedish he is a true idol for me. Come friday I snagged him off the market for like 715k, slapped a hunter on him, and hopped into WL, and LET, ME, TELL, YOU...
This Larsson is a freaking monster. He's honestly the most complete striker I could ever imagine in this game. The attacking AI is phenomenal, his pace with a hunter is actually crazy, and his shooting... holy shit his shooting is banging. This Larsson is truly cracked. I don't have anything to even slightly complain about. The 3 star skill moves didn't bother me in the slightest. All skill moves you need on a striker in this game is 3* anyways and his base dribbling is good enough. Regular left stick on Larsson is fantastic, his movement is crisp. I wouldn't actually be surprised if some pro players started using him in the future.
Truly a magnificent card that gives me some aspect of fun in this snorefest of a game.
Is he better than R9 (in-game)? No. Will you lose money buying him? Most likely. Are the dreads the wrong color? Yes. Will you love him? ABSOLUTELY.
Honest to god, hand on my heart; everything. I don't have a single complaint about this card. The only potential downside would be the price, but if you're here reading reviews, you're probably willing to spend the coins already.
Ok one con: EA gave him the wrong hair color his dreads.
I was fed up of CR7. Don't get me wrong he was amazing in game but I was just bored of him after the 100 games with him. I was going through the market and sniped this legend for a mere 350000. He has been great for me. His wf a 4 feels like a 5 and his shooting is off the charts. Any chance this man gets is a confirmed goal.
