This is the first time I've ever reviewed a player on here, so you know it's serious. From the moment I got this card I knew he was gonna be special. He has the Icon-factor that often gets mentioned by people. Whenever Bergkamp gets the ball, something special happens. I really can't comparing him to any other player, because he is in a league of his own. He cost me around 860k which is (imo) a huge price to pay, but oh boy is he worth it. In 29 Fut champs games he scored 67 goals. It felt like every game is a hattrick for him. This man glides on the pitch. Now I'm telling you, he isn't the fastest, but he got a nice run with some strength to keep defenders off. He held his ground against Varane and showed Van Dijk who his daddy is.
Now I call him the left footed righty because I scored more goals with his left foot than his right one. He has 4* weakfoot which is a big lie. His weakfoot should be atleast 6*. During the weekend league I often found myself screaming ''DENNIS BERGKAMP DENNIS BERGKAMP DENNIS BERGKAMP OOOHHHHH'' because he scores bangers like that.
Pace:
It's enough with a hunter on him. Use him for quick 1-2's around the box, but don't go down the wing trying the pace abuse with him.
Shooting:
He should have 6* weakfoot cause even 5* would't do him justice. Every shot is a goal, nothing else there to say.
Passing:
It's good enough for a striker, no complaints here.
Dribbling:
He doesn't have the highest agility and or balance but it gets the job done. The Icon-factor stands out here where other mortal plauers can't get the ball off of him. Also considering he has decent strength which helps him fight of Van Dijks annoying ponytail.
His price maybe? But then again I haven't seen a cheaper/better Icon option than him.
Bought this man in the beginning of the WL and wow... what a card! Played him as a striker in 4222 formation. This man got me to Gold 1 and even 17-4 at one point.
He isn't the fast and agile player like everyone uses as meta but this card just blows the meta away.

Okay, first of all, do the sbc
This weekend i started my fut champs 8-0 with a standard team. I then packed some good players and as i'm an Ajax fan and also an arsenal fan i decided i would do the sbc. I could also fit rttf Promes in my team so these 2 would be my strikers in a 442 where bergkamp his instructions were false 9 and stay central.
His shooting is insane, he scores from anywhere and also his lefty is as good as his right.
Normally i finish gold 1 but this WL i went 23-4 and stopped there. In the 19 games he played he scored 32 times and assisted 22. he's INSANE.
Just get the guy if you're debating to get him. any price under the 400 k (using players in the club ofc) is worth it. I did the sbc for almost 250k and got pogba untradeable :)

I opened the Mid Icon pack seeing the Netherlands flag in hopes that it'd be Cruyff or Gulllit but it was Bergkamp. Don't get me wrong he is definitely better than Litmanen, Inzaghi, Laudrup, etc, and he does have flashes of greatness but playing Fut Champs in January where everyone has superteams I find that he lacks the ability to keep up with other players in current FIFA. First, ( let's start with the positives. (BTW I've played him in CAM and Striker so I can have a full grasp of his abilities.)
He has superb ball control, ball rolls, and body feints that help create space for a goal. When I learned of his dribbling abilities it surprised me as he's 6 foot. He also has great through balls contrary to his 83 Passing stat on his card and his week foot seems to be almost as good as his preferred foot. The last positive of this card is his strength. Obviously, Bergkamp is no Ronaldo he lacks the speed to beat his man but his 74 strength added with his 85 pace does help him barely slip past defenders like Ramos, (Sometimes) Van Dijk, Aidoo (Objective Card), and Diego Carlos who aren't on Varane, Joe Gomez, or Adama Traore (FutFreeze) level of speed.
Moving onto his Weaknesses. When faced with fast defenders like Varane, Joe Gomez, and Adama there is not a chance that he'll beat them even struggling to beat them when receiving a through ball when he's meters ahead of them. Knowing this I changed the way I played so I could use him at his highest potential therefore, I used lots of body feints and ball rolls to create space so I could put his finesse shot trait to use but to my surprise, I'd find out that his finesse shot isn't consistent at all! The shots I'd take with him were directly in front of the next as well and these type of shots were easily scored by players like Aoaur Freeze card, Lewandowski, and Werner. If I were to put it as a rating I'd give his finesse shots a 6/10 as some of them do go in but some manage to somehow not go in. These last two weaknesses are picky but if you're choosing icons you have to be picky and these weaknesses are Agility and Skill Moves. His Agility wasn't too surprising as he has only 84 agility and he's 6 feet tall but if you put an engine on him I guarantee you'd see a difference and this weakness could turn into a pro but I didn't put an Engine on him because I wanted him to be as fast as possible and he only has 4-star skills again not really a massive problem but 5-star skills would be nice.

His shooting isn't consistent surprisingly and his Finesse Shot isn't consistent either
No 5 Star Skills
Playing this card at the CAM position was quite fun. His positioning, pace, shooting (his finesse shots are incredible by the way) and passing were quite good in general. The only thing that I dislike was his turn speed. It is not slow, but I like to use a CAM, CF or a ST that possesses the meta turn speed (like Ben Yedder for instance).

- Workrates are decent (feels quite present on the pitch, given the right instructions)
- Fun to use
- His first touches are very fine and stable
- Icon linkage
- He is a little bit overpriced, but very fun to use
- His dribbling is fine but his turn speed is not meta
- Not a typical meta player (still very decent though)
so decided to do a mid or prime icon pack and this guy popped up at first i wasn't really pleased with what i got but i wasn't disappointed. then i decided to use him in weekend league and oh my. first of all his strength was incredible and can hold of any defender (even varane) he scored every shot he had and his shot power is incredible his finesse shots are also insane. he tracked back and made incredible runs and he was always in a good position. overall he is definitely worth the coins and if you have him untradeable definitely use him.

I bought before the SBC came out then tried to sell to prevent losing too much but he never sold, so I just kept using him and he's been immense. I'm a big critic of weak foot rating but his is unnoticeable. He bangs in finesses and cross goal power shots with ease. I don't dribble/do skills much so his 'clunkiness' affects me less but his ability in 1-2s and 1 on 1 situations is up there with the best.
