When I saw TOTY Alphonso Davies, I knew that I had to try out the first ever team of the year player from my country, Canada. I managed to pick him up on Thursday, for 1.45 million coins, and have since slotted him into my weekend league side.
I used him as a defensive midfielder in the 442(2) formation, trying out multiple chemistry styles. I used the deadeye, backbone, and gladiator, and found that all were effective, but depending on how you want to play him, choose whichever suits that role the best.
I decided to play him mostly as a defensive mid who could push forward to help Neymar and Mbappe score goals. With Davies the bridge is lethal, as his combination of dribbling, speed, and strength help to propel him past the defenders. Surprisingly, his shot was phenomenal. He scored 19 goals, while offering mental passing from the middle of the park, combining for 12 assists as well. Davies is a phenom on the defensive end, using his tackling and pace to easily win you back the ball.
In conclusion, Alphonso Davies is the best defender and central midfielder I have used so far this year, and I would recommend him to almost anyone at any price you can afford.

Nothing. Genuinely nothing. He does everything so well. Honestly, if you gave him a deadeye and slapped him left striker in a 442, there's no reason he couldn't score 6 goals per game. Buy him. Just do it.
First of all, sorry for my English. I got Davies in the +83 Defense Two Pack and i used him in Rivals div 4 and 3. Davies is an impressive card, absolutely all-rounder. A very fast player with an incredible ability to steal the ball. To attack and defend he is a super complete player who will never disappoint you. The only visible problem is if it happens to you like me, that it is difficult to give him a good link if you do not have many coins.

First of all I want to say that I am a Fifa player since many years. I have used futbin so much but this is my first review. I think that i should do it because Davies is the most game changer player that i have used in all my life, and i have played a lot.
I used him as Cdm or Cm box to box, and i am sure that if you want a fast and agile player, Davies is your choice. But Alphonso is much more. You just have to see the stats and then you will know he is a beast. But Davies isn't just pace.

Incredible for a left back. I used his as st or lCAM and he scored when he played. But thats not all.
I have used him in 2 futchamps and the last one he was the most goalscorer, overcoming Maradona, Mane, Dybala Sbc and Robben.

In conclusion, Alphonso Davies is the Best Cdm, Cm and LB, and a perfect CB, ST and LM and Cam. He is incredible, you must use him. I love the canadian player and i think that i am not going to sell him never. He is now my best player and make me arrive to 1st division

I have used many different strikers this year, but absolutely none of them can compare to this man.
The strikers that I'm talking about are: Neymar,Mbappe, RB talisca, Rooney, Dybala, POTM Messi, FB Williams, WI Morales, Future Star Fati
I have used him in different positions and you can use him anywhere you want. He's a good attacking CM / Box2Box CM / Defensive CM, CAM, LM, LB, CB but his best position is up front.
When you use a heel to heel or any type of fake pass you can dribble your opponents whole midfield, defence and keeper. He can launch forward at insane speeds.
His shooting stats are the biggest lie I've ever seen, he can score from anywhere and his shot power is insane.
He can acrobatically intercept any high passes in your opponents defence and he will intercept every pass over the ground with his sanic like speed.
When I used him as a striker he scored a hattrick in almost every game and my opponents would message me how toxic it is to use him as a striker.
I wouldn't use an expensive player like this as a left back though, and I have both him and Kimmich and Kimmich is better as a CM so get Kimmich if you're looking for a CM.

First I thought about playing Ballack but he has got olnly 75 agility what is one of the most important stat in FIFA 21. Then I searched again but without the position this time and I found him.
I haven't played many games with him but his Pros are obvious:
His Agility (99), he is the definition of the German Word "Wuselig" what means something like bustling but in a much more positive way (like a rabbit).
His pace (99), he is the fastest player in FIFA 21
His defense (91)
His agression (91), aditionally to agility agression is one of the most important stats in FIFA 21. If you are close to your opponent and press L2/LT he takes the ball automatically.
I played Petit Prime, Guardiola Prime, Renato UEL, Kante and Kessie UEL and nobody of them was better than him! Best CM/CDM in FIFA 21!
The strongest argument against playing Davies is that you have to find somebody you can switch with him because you have to play him in the central of the field. As you can see in my squad I start with Moore Baby but just for getting chemistry!!! When the game beginns I replace him with Klaiber as LB but of course you can play any other card as LB you want to play.
I wouldn't play him as LB! Not because his is too bad but because his strengths emerge much better in Central Midfield than as Left Back.
I decided to buy this card as i had a lot of coins to spare and i wanted to try playing a 352 to change up my style a bit. Davies was used in a 352, 5212 and 4231 all in division 1 rivals games. I found his pace to be a bit of a lie, his face stats say 99 but he doesn't feel 99 fast, this could be due to his bodytype. Don't get me wrong he is "fast" but for some reason isn't able to burst past backs like my RB (FS Dest) or Mbappe can.
Shooting wise when i used him as a LM/LWB with a Guardian i must say it was phenomenal for a fullback. Obviously you don't want to finesse shot with him as he doesn't have the trait.
His passing was pretty good, i didn't have any issues even with a chemistry style that didn't boost passing. His long passing as the card stats suggest isn't that great, but i barely do those with my wingbacks or backs anyways so for me it doesn't matter.
Dribbling wise he is great, but in my opinion he is a little too tall to be the perfect dribbler. I have given him a 9/10 as he is very smooth on the ball, yet his height can hinder him sometimes if im going to nitpick.
Defending wise i found him to be good but nothing special compared to other leftbacks i've used, even with a sentinel boosting his defending to the max. He is very reliable and i never felt anxious when through balls were sent to the opponents prime george best on the wing and he comfortably caught up and tackled.
Physical stats on this card are seemingly good but this is where i find him fraudulent. Sure he has 93 strength and 99 with a sentinel but something causes him to let the ball bounce back a lot to my opponents. Stamina is great, jumping isn't very important. He can last 120 minutes as a LB but as a wingback/midfielder he might struggle a bit sometimes.
Now i might seem harsh on what i've written but im just trying to nitpick his flaws, and i have given him high reviews in everything except physical because he is amazing. Now when it comes to value for money i don't rate him very highly. Sure he is a decent CDM or CM but even there i didn't find him to be anything special or as its called a "gamechanger" like bruno fernandes or gullit is. He was good but his slim build let him down as a defensive minded player. I don't recommend spending your budget on this guy if you have coins to spend other places, but if you love the 352 this guy is absolute perfection. You will not find a better wingback than him.
