Jesus Christ, this man should go straight to jail for sending so many kids crying to their moms after getting slapped by Eto'o. His shot is like Cristiano Ronaldo's who I previously had but thought why not get Eto'o. That was probably the best decision of my life. In 24 games he scored 42 goals and had 13 assists. I know what you are thinking, its probably in division 6 or something. No I am division 1 and grinded my asscheeks off to get this card. Everything about this card is good, the only thing is his price. He's too cheap, and after around 10 games you start feeling bad for your opponent. I 1000% recommend this card to you to save up for it. It will change your whole club and gameplay.
I was fortunate enough to pack Eto from the baby icon SBC and wanted to wait for a while to write a review before ? had enough games to evaluate him. All I can say is he is an absolute unit. ?f you can afford him you should get him. He is lightning fast, turns super fast (even faster than mbappe). Shots are always accurate with the insane shooting. Such a deadly card.
Pace: 10/10 No one will be able to catch him.
Shooting: 10/10 Best shooting in the game never misses.
Passing: 8/10 He is a striker don't expect KDB passes from him but still decent enough.
Physical: 9/10 Most of the time can push defenders. don't expect him to push VVD
Price: The only con of this card is his price (well not for me at least). 2.1 million is a lot of coins and you can almost get both mbappe and neymar for that money. So if you are not a meta slave or not bothered to give 2.1 million for an IRL legend just buy him. But of course 2.1 million is a lot of money for most players.
This man is an absolute beast! I tried R9 before and was really satisfied but i missed sth. The only payable alternative for R9 was Eto'o imo.
He currently cost 500k less than R9, even Eto'o has better in Game Stats. I Played him next to Mertens in a 4-2-4 Formation and i was really surprised how much better than R9 he is.
Eto'o is so fast, that you don't Need a Speed boost chemstyle on him. His shots, especially his Right foot, is deadly. Every shot is a boomer.
His movement in Connection with his Speed and Dribbling is amazing.
The only Thing i would boost is his passing. It's not the best.
I am a div 1, elite 3 Player, so you could decide to trust me or not.
For all of you searching for a super strong striker (better than Mbappe in my opinion) try him out and be happy.

Hi guys, i dont often write reviews but having packed this card from a base icon pack all the way back in December (its currently 1st of february as i write this) I have to share with you guys how amazing this card is. Firstly, I applied chemistry style 'marksman' to boost his shooting, physical and dribbling. Firstly, his pace even without a pace boosting chem style is absolutely fanatastic, he will easily outpace almost any CB, and his finishing is absolutely lethal and he will score in the box 9 times out of time, and can even score fantastic longer-range finesse shots that most players in game cant. His passing is surprisingly good as well despite the stats, he has 215 assists for me in around 261 games, as well as 414 goals, although around 100 of these were for the 'score 500 goals' objective on beginner squad battles, so his actual total would be around 300. Overall, even though his card does not seem absolutely amazing (compared with some special gold cards), icons always seem to outperform their stats significantly and this guy is no exception; he is simply so fun to play with and i would 100% recommend him if you are looking for a striker in his price range; he guarantess you goals, assists, and to be the centerpiece of your attack; even in mine that consists of neymar and flashback CR7/Robben (currently CR7(. thanks for reading!

I remember watching Eto'o play IRL and while he was exciting to watch, I wouldn't have lumped him into the category with R9, Dinho, etc, but in FIFA - oh boy.
I pulled him out of a Base Icon pack and didn't realize how expensive he was going for until I went to compare to see if I got my moneys worth. At over $2mil, the asking price is steep for an 87 rated player, but he is all kinds of broken and outplays his rating by a long shot. I started off using him at CCAM behind Mbappe in a 4-2-3-1, but he outplayed Mbappe and I moved him to striker and which is where he went off (I did mix in some 4-4-2 for maybe a 3rd of the weekend and a 4-1-2-1-2 for comebacks).
Most of the #s were from weekend league (rough weekend apart from Etoo stepping up), and while I played like crap, he was still netting goals like nobody's business. His turn and first step away from a defender was nuts (scoop turn at the top of the box or a first time fake shot) and had him cut through defences like a hot knife and butter. He's also a lethal finisher from a variety of angles and distances. His pace is electric and he seems to keep the ball closer to his feet than a lot of players even at pace.
He's lots of fun to play with, and he won't likely be leaving the squad any time soon (not just because he's untradable). Out of the strikers I've tried so far, he outperforms them all (even GOATs like Mbappe, Cantona and IF Rashford who had carried my team this season).
Dribbling/Agility - He outplays his ratings for sure. He feels nimble on the ball and turns super well.
Pace - both in the open field and breaking away from a defender - even without using a chem boost for his pace, he's rapid and you feel like the 95/94 Accel and sprint speed.
Finishing - on Marksman, he's god tier. You name it, chip, finesse, inside the box outside the box on the head, he does it all.
Physicality - for a striker of his size, he's very strong on the ball and good in the air.
Stamina - he would tire late in the match at CAM, but at ST he was good into the 120th min.
Cost - $2Mil is a lot of coins - he's worth every penny, but if it was my last $2M coins, not sure I would sink them into him.
Guy, you might hate it or not, but ETO 87 card doesnt feel any top-level/ elite / META. I expected much more for 1.5 mill coins and those stats.
I start by saying > I was a bit fan of ETO in RL and loved his cards in previous FIFAs.
I finally got 2mill and decided to try base 87 card first.
He played decent. 10 games / 7 goals. But the feeling of the card was not great.
Most disappointing part >his reactions/ first touch movements / acceleration => not great. He feels a bit heavy on the ball and defenders can easily tackle while you make first move with left stick.
His dribbling didnt feel like elite too. Not agile and not quick . Nowhere near to Mbappe/ Neymar type of dribbling.
Other than that.... He was good. Finished most of chances/ had some crazy good long range finesse goals too. When he is fed with through ball on a run.. he will finish everything
But my point is => for 1,5 MIll I would expect the card to be a game changer.... next level..
In reality, base ETO didnt feel better than Prime Crespo. Who is only 650K. ....+ Mbappe gold is better for 600K.....
Value for coins is not there.
Maybe I will try Mid/ Prime version later this year. Or will by PIM Crespo...coz Crespo card felt more complete for me.

he is very very very good. i have a marksman on him and his boots have glue on them. he never misses and he is lightning on his feet. but... that's when he decides to play. i love this card so much, but the workrates are a problem. not a huge problem, but you can see it
samuel etoo i used him in 1 weekend league in a 3 mil team. he was incredible but a little bit overpriced, i also used mbappe as a striker and on my opinion mbappe was a little bit better
