just don't try anything fancy with his dribbling and just focus in using him as a target man/get in behind type of ST, and this card is a literal joke. Did him the first day he came out, over 100 goals in already for me either as a starter/off the bench. He's so fun to use with those playstyles!

His pace and strength are his best asset's. Just send him to get in behind or be the target man and he can do wonders, but don't use him for dribbling...

She was already cracked before the upgrade, she's going to be a monster from now on.

Probably one of the best SBC's I've done all year. Mine is around 500 matches with 100 goals and a whopping 250+ assists. That playstyle+ of his is a menace if you know how to place a pass. I can't take him out of any of my lineups, as a starter or super-sub this card is UNREAL.

this card is massively underrated, I have like 5 tradeables of him plus the one I'm using with a Hunter and so far over last WL he went 11/5 over the 9 games I used him, felt like a showdown player that got an upgrade, busted at times, finishing just right, dribbling the right way AND held his own against much stronger cards like a TOTW VVD or a Lucio Hero (no lie).

with an anchor this is one of the best defenders in the game imo, I have him paired up with an Evo Bastoni Showdown and it feels illegal.

just packed him alongside Mac from a 84x7...holy ****.

most recent 84x7s all went into this guy without costing me a coin, can't wait to start whipping all sorts of BS passes with him. engine seems to me the best kind of chem for my play-style, but I can see why people recommend anchor...it also benefits his stats as well.

an absolute ANIMAL...one of the BEST St's in the game, imo! SO fun to use, packed him 2nd day but so far the only guy I packed from last week besides a tradeable Francescoli like 3 times (RIP). Can't complain, though...he's been unreal!

I packed his base gold rare around Xmas I think, and I've had him on the bench since. idk about you guys but this man coming off the bench in a Champs or rivals promotion match wearing the no 10 is like Shanks pulling up at max Conquerer's Haki and 9/10 times I can feel my opponent's start to **** themselves a little bit. Don't be fooled by price, IT'S STILL ****ING MESSI LMAO

Hunter or Artist on him, off the bench, when you need the goal, if you know what you're doing, HE *ALWAYS* SCORES.

I have 89 Futre and 90 Best, this card outperformed both (sadly). one of the best value SBC's all year. this little rat **** is a nightmare to play against if a skiller is using him.

I know the Porro Spurs card has overall better stats everywhere, but the Icon's have a different sauce to them, right? He seems to be the best RB in the game in the eyes of many...

this guy lives up to his name, legendary CB and absolutely broken in-game wins EVERY ball if you time it just right. if you need pace on him you're not doing it right one pacey CB is enough but one with 99 def and almost 99 physicality like this card can be its a ****ing joke LMAO

Friendly tip for some of you out there: LB dribbling is very strong this year, so any mother****er with 4star/5star and a golden play style+ in regards to dribbling makes LB dribbling and RB transitions near instant or smooth AF. People call this "game script" or "cheating" but regardless of your ping, if you know what you're doing with LS + LB and/or RB, you can get past soooooo many defenders it's ridiculous. cards like this Ney Gold Rare, Di Maria RTTK, Musiala, **** even WILL ZAHA lmao, are incredibly strong early on because of this. Just some food for thought. GL out there.

With a hawk she's a beast for me, idk why! Have her as a super-sub, about 150 matches or so, and she's at 70/40 G/A for me. She comes up big for me so many games!

My first walk out during week 1 and Mr. Automatic for my team. Already over 50 goals over 60 appearances, don't sleep on him. Feed him and he ****ing scores, and has some of the coolest animations in the game when trapping the ball or finishing. Absolute baller and great value.

for chem I'm starting Desailly at CDM and her at CB and I just swap the too and as a stay back CDM she's a ****ing joke...LOL that price doesn't do this card justice....City player though (ew)

his showdown was sauce, this one feels simply unfair at times. his power shots work better off of volley's or first time finishes FYI (just like how he finishes a lot IRL...) as a Pool fan during TOTY or TOTS I've rarely packed a Liverpool player, so getting his TOTS and it's a player I REALLY like as a fan in real life as well, is a huge win. He's been great so far.

I turned him into a 89 to pair alongside 89 De Paul and he was so fun to use! Really good stats... eventually got replaced by Clark/Mac showdown cards but I used him and De Paul together for a good 50-60 matches over a span of two weeks and he was one of the best midfielders I've used this year.

One of the best SBC's ALL YEAR. A ****ing TOP player IRL and a top card in-game. Whether you're a Liverpool Fan or not, this card has been absolute SAUCE for me.

when you're dribbling just using left stick or using LS and LT, I would assume. every other dribbling style incorporates some form of pace except one that is RT+RB I think, which slows you down greatly. any player with press proven might automatically shield themselves without having to hold LT, or if you just tap LT its enough to completely shield you from the ball. its a play-style that is a rat's worst nightmare, because its a simple fundamental of the game (don't lose possession) and it draws out people that over-press or press without thinking, and instantly creates a pass option.

the only TOTY I packed from a 82+ player pack or w/e, and currently my main CB alongside Moore wth BLanc and Gold Rare VVD off the bench. I Literally have no other "meta" CB's, so this was a surprising win tbh...he's insane with Shadow.

he's my super-sub! This Bambi looking ass mother****er has 40/18 G/A on 60 games exclusively in Rivals/Champs for me this past month. He's absolute SAUCE, that dribbling of his is NO JOKE. He's an absolute nightmare to defend against and people often hard foul or get red carded whenever I use him. Can't believe his price has dropped so much when IMO he's one of the best CAM's and dribblers in the entire game. It really does feel like you're using a TOTY tier card whenever he comes on.

I do not regret doing this SBC after previously owning the FC Pro versions of him, and since I'm f2p I know for a fact I ain't packing that 90 rated one...every time this card comes off the bench for me, he scores. Great dribbling too!

my god as a LM/LCM and even CDM/LDM this card is a joke...benched my 88 evo Riise and 86 TOTW Theo who were my main stay LB's for idk how long...im really enjoying his overall stats, he's so good.

did the sbc, benched every lb in my club (F2P but above average skill player here) so between div 3/div4 which is my ceiling this year he's doing great for me defensively and also crossing the ball in occasionally some of the coolest cross animations imo in the whole game. just don't try anything fancy with his passing (much like he played IRL), and you'll be fine.

one of the best budget CM/CDM's in the game right now. 88 that feels like a 91, if you're a f2p player, this card is a must! he's fantastic, and hella underrated IRL too

since Benzema was my only walkout during the first two weeks, I went with his evo and it's absolutely busted lol... a really fun card.

I'm also around the same tier of skill as you, and encounter exactly the same things you are describing. I've played on PC, Series X and Series S across 3 accounts, the most being in Fifa 22. It's really ****ing hard to tell when it's script or just someone with better ping*, input* and internet difference. Every jammy or shaky outcome comes from this. Like the servers and internet affect matches so ****ing much, it's crazy. Most high level players or streamers are on 10 or 15 ping or even less. A lot of **** we see that we think is real time for us is on a delay, but there's script as well..

this was the only Hero I packed from that promo and now 300+ matches later, still one of the best left stick/overall dribblers I've ever used playing FUT. He's ****ing absurd. I've seen streamers and pro players absolutely embarrass people with this card. Can't imagine how stupid cracked the 90 version is.

Man I got lucky back then and got his 88 WW on like the 2nd day of that promo and it played really well for me at CM/LM for so long... this one as a LB/LWB is good but there are better options at the position if you're p2w. or have the coins If you're f2p like me, he's probably the best LB available for basically nothing and if you're okay with swapping someone else to LB or playing 3 at the back, at LWB and LCM or LM this is one of the most fun cards in the game.

his edge of the box trivella longshots are the staple for this card, if you know how to yeet them in, sub this dude in and you know what you can do, but it's only for a brief chance or two imo...for a midfielder he's okay, I'd still use Gyoro or Barella over him for example... but not a bad super sub if you're lacking midfield reinforcement ( I was for a while until I got lucky and got both him and TS Silva from a UT pack in the same week).

I paid the 100k to turn him into a 90 and his dribbling is ridiculous. literally silk on the pitch. LB/RB/Left stick, DOESN'T MATTER. Absolute joke. a top 5 CAM in the game for me, or maybe I'm just saying that cause I'm 100% F2P.

so to end this rant, if you know and CAN CLEARLY SEE your opponent is constantly getting bailed out by DDA, his GK having 10+ saves, the p2w element being so noticeable, only scores from being a rat or abusing pace, only passes forward on YOUR mistakes, etc, and scores NO OTHER WAY and tries NOTHING ELSE, rest assured, you're not a bad player, you just got paired up against a credit card RAT. Taking a bad loss ? drop the controller, walk away, do some breathing exercises, etc. THATS HOW THIS ****ING COMPANY GETS YOU TO SPEND MONEY AND HOOKS YOU INTO BUYING POINTS. DON'T BE A SHEEP. **** EA.

89 that plays and feels like a 91+ for me... if you're F2P, do this card ASAP and you have an insane option for CDM/CM which is where he truly shines.

the classic "if you're having trouble or struggling, SPEND MONEY, and your problems will go away!" trope this company abuses with this game and how it impacts the gameplay is one of the most disgusting and ****ing evil things I've ever seen, and the worst type of people who are aware of this **** and not only abuse it, but EMBRACE IT, have led to the state of the game the way it is today. A toxic community with toxic and/or dead gameplay that will always be decided in the end either by who spent more and who has better internet, while dangerously playing with the emotions of its few players.

200 matches so far for me, 50 goals/60ish assists, she's everywhere on the pitch! One of the most balanced and all around cards I've used all year. She's an example of a female card that belongs to be in the game and then some, she's super fun to pair up with the likes of Bacha, Karchaoui, or Sommer...

Did a base icon pack 4 times at some point this year and got Base Makelele, Larsson x2 (oof'd, I know), and then, him. Club legend of the year so far for me...over 400 games since, 200/152 G/A across rivals/champs/squad battles even in games I'm getting torched, I can score one or two with him...I've done hat tricks in less than 15 mins in rivals (im usually div5-div4 ) with him as well as scoring last minute winners in champs whenever I feel like playing WL (game in a **** state, so I now play less and less, but I still do a WL a month) honestly one of the best cards IN THE GAME...

literally a rats best friend. the list of mediocre to absolute dog**** players I've faced that have been constantly bailed out by this card's DDA and RNG is absurd. Some manual saves by higher skill players I'll give you that, but honestly how many more weekends and/or random days a week in higher divisions (div 2 ATM) will people stomach outplaying and outperforming their opponent the entire match, make ONE mistake, get scored on, and then lose 1-0 or to something akin to 2-1 because 16 out of your 19 shots are saved by this card...like who the **** finds this win at any DDA/RNG cost fun?
