I was always a huge fan of Neymar on FIFA and was looking for a similar but better player to him, as I wanted to pair up my TOTY Mbappe with another elite-tier striker up top in a 4-4-2. I decided to go with 91 Cruyff as he's got the double 5* combo which only very few cards have on this game. First of all, what Cruyff will offer your team is offensive creativity and flair, which you desperately need in a game where it is more often than not very difficult to create chances. His double 5* combo play a crucial part in that, he can perform any skill move and shoot with either his left or right foot. Cruyff will orchestrate attacks and glue it together smoothly. He feels very light on the ball and in good gameplay especially he is gliding over the pitch. However it's difficult to compare his dribbling to neymars or messis for example as all of these players have their own unique dribbling animations. Cruyff is taller than both of them and for me it seems that he tends to have a very annoying controll over the ball to defend for the opponent because just when you feel like he's "lost controll" over the ball he'll take that little extra touch and draw the foul or beats past the opponent. He's also one of those players which has this "jam-factor" and will get lucky more often than not with the ball rebounding and sticking to him, which is a huge "trait" to have if I can call it as that. I have used all sorts of players across the different ultimate teams, Neymar TOTY (FIFA 19) is the one I enjoyed the most because besides being one of the best players he'll offer you so much fun and enjoyement. This 91 Cruyff (although of it being a different FIFA) is not as good as a Neymar TOTY but he's probably the only available card on this FIFA right now besides Neymars headliner which reminds me of him. Him and my 98 Mbappe complement each other beautifully in the attack and I'm really happy that I can enjoy both of them on the same team. I'd really recommend playing cruyff in a two-striker formation, him being the creative maestro and artist with another striker being the lethal hunter and finisher. Although passing is broken on this game, he much more than other players manages to find the right passing lines and creat magical through balls to Mbappe. His 5* wf also come in clutch with the passing as he can play them with either foot, thus allowing you to release passes at different angles and on either foot. His shooting is fantastic, a lot of players are good dribblers but lack the end product, that however is not the case with Cruyff. His outside the foot shoots are gorgeous and although I'm someone who hardly uses finesse shots on this game ever since they've been nerfed he's one of the few guys I trust with them and he hits them so sweetly. His Pace is very good, as mentioned he feels light and explosive especially when accelerating, he's not an Mbappe or Adama but for how I use him it's perfect. For me the ownly downside with this card is his stamina. Obviously Cruyff is not the strongest but that enables him to exceed at other things such as agility and dribbling, but his stamina is the one thing I wish was better with this card. It's good enough for 90 Minutes but he'll struggle in extra time. Also his outstainding positioning and attacking awarness will create spaces and chances for you and is one of his biggest strenghts as he is trully an intelligent player occupying the right spaces. I'm an elite 2 / elite 1 player, finished my first WL with Cruyff on 28-2. I used him for 50 games and he scored 64 goals providing 32 assists. All games were played in division 1 and weekend league.
To conclude, Cruyff is a very very unique card on this game, that's one of the things I cannot stress enough. You have to experience the card to truly understand that. but he lives up to his icon status and offers a experience of play much different and better to so so many other cards. He is elegant and light footed, if your good with left stick dribbling and skill moves you'll LOVE this card. He dances on the pitch especially in good gameplay and he is the main source of creativity in my team, when he's on the ball you feel like you have every option. His stamina makes him struggle in extra time though and it'd be nice for it to be higher. However please do nut use him out on the wing(!) he's completely wasted there. Do also not butcher his stamina even more by forcing him to come back and defend for 90 minutes. Is he worth the price tag? I think so, he's better than any normal meta gold cards like Neymar or Messi, he's obiously not 4 times as good as Neymar as that's their price compared to one another, but he'll take your game to the next level.
He is a god of the game of the bautiful game, and I feel like FIFA did him justice and this card lives up to his legacy and the player he was in real world football. He emobodies dutch elegance and finesse and all the values he stood for as one of the genius of football.
