Played 250 games now for me and he has aved me so many times just as he has saved his team. Honestly nothing wrong with him he his great for me and I did this sbc right way. I would say the only thing wrong which wont matter too much is that he can only play good with 10 chem or he isnt tha great under 10 chem. But I guess thats the same for everyone. He did actually get a few goals and assists for me

First of all, I am a Man U supporter so this is probs the most unbiased you can get. Fifa is almost over but I still think I need to write this. I did the De Gea SBC when it came out and he has been in my squad since, he has about 600 apperances and honestly was pure s***. The amount of stupid concessions and rebound goals off him are crazy. The reason for all the bull**** and rebounds are cuz of his terrible handling, he just parry's everything out into a dangerous area, even if it is a chip straight into his arms. He sometimes saves stuff but most of the time he just does the splits as the ball flies right past him when a silver keeper could save it better. there have been so many corners where he jumps and misses the ball and it gets headed in and has cost me so many games in champs and rivals, and also controllers

- throwing is always off and so is kicking
- terrible positioning
- always doing the wrong move for the save (eg. doing the splits for a fitness shot)
I am a average to good player, Gold 1 to Elite 3 online most weekends and occasionally dabble in Squad battles, I did the SBC straight away at the time as I needed an upgrade on my current PL keeper and thought why not the best version of one of the best keeper's on the game right? Well in someways right and in someways wrong, which I will detail for you dear reader below.
His shot stopping is everything you would expect from a keeper with 92 Diving and 93 Reflexes, he saves shots you would expect to be a goal and overall performs to a high standard in this category. He will claim and catch crosses without issue as long as he is in no way impeded by opposition players, and his kicking is fine, just fine, what you would expect from an 82 rating, but not on the Alisson or Ederson level etc. The truth about old Dave is that he will save you a lot of goals, but as you'll see below, he'll also cost you plenty of goals.
The truth of the Cons section is that De Gea would make an excellent boxer.Punch, punch, punch , PUNCH, PUNCH, PUNCH. He punches, everything. Any corner, any cross, high or low, no matter how composed he looks or how much time he has, under any pressure from any opposition player of any height, he is not catching that ball, he is sending it either out into the D or doing that godawful punch where the keeper just sends it a bit further backwards in the box, which will often find an oppostion player, who will find an empty net. I tried him initially on the basic chem style for the overall bonus it provides, then the glove chem style for increased handling, but it made no difference, this is a keeper programmed to punch and not catch sadly. So much so that i intend to do the Prime Icon pack SBC in hope of getting a player that will improve my team, but will not bat an eyelid if i get even the less desireable keepers, Lehmann Schmeichel etc. so i can have something different from De Gea. He is a risk sadly overall, a keeper who is 4-5 stars with shots coming at him, but a liability who will cost you goals as soon as a cross is coming towards him.
Honestly would rather lacazette in goal. De Gea cost me so many games this weekend and left me ruing my decision

I did De Gea Futmas SBC as soon as it appeared. I wanted to buy gold version, so I treated it as great opportunity to get the best available option. Also what is important I have used it in SB at the start, because I didn't have any option to connect De Gea with existing squad. After Icon Swaps I got Hierro and finally was able to stick De Gea in squad just right when Fut Champions started. And that was a mistake.
I put De Gea in a back of Ramos and Hierro, also with Mendy and Piszczek alongside, so overall - quite good defence, not the best one available, but not the worst either. Cutting it short - opponent didn't have many shots per match. But most of them finished inside of my goal...
The biggest problem with futmas De Gea is that most of the shots he just parry, he does not catch it at all, even when he could and should, he just parry it and many times he parry it just under the foot of my opponent.
He handles long shots pretty well, but sometimes he just have a 'switch' and forgets how to jump. This was really irritating.
Overall - he really stinks, he is clearly broken, I played against normal De Gea many times and he seemed good, futmas version however makes me laugh especially when I play against him.
