Moments Petit for 19 swap tokens. Used this guy in drafts, 11-14 games in total but gave me a good enough reason to review this guy as one is not yet up. He played CM/CDM in the formations that FUT draft drafted for me and he played the best in a 4231/442. Petit played amongst and against the elite of players in the whole of FUT, your Messi’s, Mbappe’s, Van Dijks, Neymar’s etc., the list goes on. I can honestly tell you that Petit has been one of my favorite players throughout the drafts, he is such a presence on the field with his slick ponytail, he goes unnoticed with his footballing ability and his physicality. I played him mostly on ‘Stay Back while Attacking’ as I feel the a.i. will still push him up the field on the attack, which did happen.. but in some aspects, this contributes to the abilities Petit obtains. Defensively, there’s no question that he is one of the best defensive midfielders on FUT but following up with his base stats suggesting he can shoot, is quite remarkable and unique I say. I am grinding towards Petit as this guy will improve any midfield.
PACE: His pace was incredible when he drafted him with a Shadow, he was up and down the field like no tomorrow.
SHOOTING: His long shots are something else, the power he gets behind the ball is diabolical!
PASSING: Short passing at 91 and long passing at 87 makes him a great outlet in front of your defensive line.
DRIBBLING: 6foot 1 with 81 agility impresses me, he turns well and isn’t clunky. Reactions and Ball control both at 89 makes him very smooth on the ball.
DEFENDING: The guy is an intercepting machine with a ponytail! How could you not want an midfielder who 9 times out of 10 intercepts every opposing through ball and pass. A defensive menace!
PHYSICALITY: Stamina, the guy has 95 stamina. Runs all game long without needing to breathe out of his backside. Aggression at 93 helps with the fact why he is an intercepting machine!
The Pro’s to this card are as followed:
ICON/Links: Can play in any team.
Accessibility: He is easily accessible. Coins is not needed to acquire Petit.
Shooting: Long shots for days with him, out of this world. Honestly..
Interceptions: The guys interceptions are honestly amazing. He will make you smile when he retrieves the ball back with his long legs!
Tackling: 1v1 shoulder to shoulder, he wins them with ease. Lost 1 battle against Van Dijk, that’s it.
Passing: Very good passer on the ball, just a bog-standard passer to be honest. Passing isn’t exactly great this FIFA, even if you has 99 stats in the passing field, you will still muck up..
The Con’s to this card are as followed:
Weak Foot: 3* weak foot isn’t the most ideal. Hence being a Con.
Skill Moves: This is purely based on you skillers out there.
Pace: Pace isn’t an issue if boosted with a pace boost. If left alone, it can be an issue as he has H/H work rates.
Finishing: This isn’t based on his long distance shooting ability, this is purely based on finishing in tight areas, 1v1 and finesse.
