FC 24 Team of The Week 24 Predictions

TOTW 24 while doesn’t excel brings a well-rounded side with options all over the field. TOTY inclusion, Batlle, Serie A duo, Martinez and Vlahovic and Raphinha headline the side while we also see nostalgic options in Benteke and Firmino.

Marcin Bulka - GK - 73 > 85 OVR

Six saves and clean sheet  /  Nice 0 - Clermont 0  /  8 L’equipe Rating

What a season it has been for both Nice and Bulka. Only 15 goals conceded all season so far and another clean sheet to go under his belt this weekend. Making a total of six saves it was far from routine with Bulka producing several key saves, seeing L’equipe ward him an 8/10.

Ona Batlle - RB - 85 > 87 OVR

Goal, assist and clean sheet  /  Spain (W) 3 - Netherlands (W) 0  /  9.1 Whoscored Rating

Spain is a dominant force in the Women's game with many of the best players coming from the nation. Battle is one of those coming fresh of her inclusion into TOTY. The Barcelona defender impressed again at the International level, providing two attacking returns alongside her clean sheet.

Robin Gosens - LWB - 79 > 85 OVR

Goal and assist  /  Union Berlin 2 - Heidenheim 2  /  Kicker TOTW

Although Gosens only drew in a 2-2 draw as a defender his contributions, especially towards the offensive side of the game was one of the main reasons Union came away with anything. Both a goal and an assist saw the German gain access into Kicker’s TOTW and in turn likely EA’s

Wilfried Singo - RB - 76 > 87 OVR

One assist  /  Lens 2 - Monaco 3  /  8 L’equipe Rating

It was a game for the Neutrals with a five-goal thriller playing out between Lens and Monaco. The away side edged it thanks to a 92nd-minute winner, just minutes after they also missed a penalty. Singo claimed MOTM for his assist and constant threat down the right-hand flank.

Raphinha - RW - 84 > 87 OVR

Goal and assist  /  Barcelona 4 - Getafe 0  /  8.9 Sofascore Rating

All Barcelona can do is keep winning to pile the pressure onto Real Madrid and hope they slip up. Barca recorded a convincing 4-0 win this weekend while hosting Getafe. Four different goalscorers but Raphinha with a goal and an assist could make the side, look away WW owners.

Douglas Luiz - CM - 79 > 86 OVR

Two goals  /  Aston Villa 4 - Nottingham Forest 2  /  9 Sky Rating

What a player Douglas Luiz has been for Villa this season. It was another sublime performance from the Brazilian this weekend as he commanded the game from the middle of the park while finding the net on two occasions.

Roberto Firmino - CAM - 82 > 87 OVR

Two goals, one assist  /  Al Tai 1 - Al Ahli 4  /  9.2 Sofascore Rating

Firmino has yet to impress to the extent some would have expected upon his move to Saudi Arabia but one of his better performances came on Saturday. The Brazilian scored twice and assisted another to help Al Ahli to a 4-1 away win. With featured IF’s being less strict now I would expect Firmino to receive one, sorry Fire/Ice owners.

Santiago Comesana - CM - 78 > 87 OVR

Two goals  /  Sociedad 1 - Villarreal 3  /  8.7 Sofascore Rating

Villarreal are far from the force they were only a few seasons ago but still possess the ability to upset. Sociedad were on the end of that on Friday with Villarreal recording a 3-1 away win. Comesana scored two of those three from CM, making him a strong candidate for TOTW 24.

Lautaro Martinez - ST - 87 > 90 OVR

Two goals  /  Lecce 0 - Inter 4  /  7.5 Gazzetta Rating

With the Argentine scoring for fun this season Martinez hasn’t been shy of a special card. Should he receive the TIF it would be his fifth promotional item of the game. He gets the nod from me for his double during a convincing Inter Milan win.

Dusan Vlahovic - ST - 83 > 88 OVR

Two goals, one assist  /  Juventus 3 - Frosinone 2  /  7.5 Gazzetta Rating

While EA may snub him due to the POTM earlier in the month with the tail end of the game now being in process they are usually much more lenient. With two goals and an assist, Vlahovic is among the best gold striker options thus making him difficult to ignore.

Luuk De Jong - ST - 79 > 87 OVR

Three goals, one assist  /  Zwolle 1 - PSV 7  /  8 VI Rating

Veerman received MOTM here but with just one assist I can’t include him over De Jong. The Dutchman scored three and assisted another during PSV’s dominant display away at Zwolle. With four goal contributions, I highly doubt EA opt against him either.

Joshua Brenet - RB - 74 > 85 OVR

Goal, assist and clean sheet  /  Twente 3 - GA Eagles 0  /  7 VI Rating

VI made it difficult with the ratings they handed out this week. Brenet is another I would expect to make it despite not receiving the official MOTM. A goal, assist and clean sheet is the perfect result as a defender.

Wes Burns - RM - 69 > 85 OVR

Two goals, one assist  /  Ipswich 4 - Rotherham 3  /  8 Sofascore Rating

With a clear favouritism towards the Championship with 15 IF’s from the opening 23 it's perhaps surprising to see that high-flying Ipswich are still without an IF. That could be about to change with Burns being involved in three goals during a seven-goal thriller with Rotherham.

Jordan Ayew - CAM - 74 > 85 OVR

Goal and assist  /  Palace 3 - Burnley 0  /  8 Sky Rating

Burnley continues to struggle, showing the gap between the Championship and the Premiership. Crystal Palace convincingly beat them 3-0 this weekend with Ayew being the main threat with both a goal and an assist.

Mahdi Camara - CM - 72 > 85 OVR

Hat trick  /  Strasbourg 0 - Brest 3  /  9 L’equipe Rating

An easy inclusion into the side comes after Camara scored all three Brest goals as they continue to impress near the top of Ligue 1. Strasbourg were their latest victims with Mehdi’s inspired performances leading them to a 3-0 win.

Maximilian Beier - ST - 70 > 85 OVR

Two goals  /  Dortmund 2 - Hoffenheim 3  /  Kicker POTW

An inspired comeback lead by Beier saw Hoffenheim claim an unlikely three points away at Dortmund. Beier’s double saw the Germanawarded Kickers POTW. An award which more often than not results in an IF.

Rafa - ST - 83 > 87 OVR

Two goals, one assist  /  Benfica 4 - Portimonense 0  /  9.9 Sofascore Rating

The Portuguese title race is among the tightest out there currently, with Benfica and Sporting racing ahead of the pack. With Sporting only managing a draw this week, Benfica’s 4-0 win helps them put the pressure on Sporting who trail by two points but with a game in hand. Rafa contributed to three goals on Sunday which will inevitably result in his SIF.

Christian Benteke - ST - 74 > 85 OVR

Hat trick  /  DC United 3 - New England 1  /  10 Sofascore Rating

Finishing the week we have a real blast from the past with Benteke. The Belgian scored all three of his side's goals this week during their  3-1 home win. While it's not quite the same there is still a nostalgic feel to an 85-rated Benteke.
