FC 24 Team of The Week 27 Predictions

After successfully predicting 13/18 last week many will be hoping for a similar score if this prediction is anything to go by. Several players stand out whether that's Mbappe’s treble, Lewans dominant display, a trio of assists for Valverde or a fourth IF for Theo Hernandez

Arijanet Muric - GK - 75 > 85 OVR

Five saves  /  Burnley 2 - Brentford 1  /  9 Sky Rating

While Burnley surviving relegation is still highly unlikely it is not impossible and their most recent fixture, a 2-1 win over Brentford will give them a glimmer of hope. Muric made several key saves throughout to keep Burnley ahead and with a huge 9/10 being awarded from Sky I think he sneaks in this week.

Theo Hernandez - LB - 85 > 89 OVR

One goal  /  Verona 1 - AC Milan 3  /  7 Gazzetta Rating

EA simply love including Theo Hernandez in their sides and whenever the Frenchman puts in a noteworthy performance you can be certain that they will acknowledge him. Despite this potentially being his fourth inclusion into TOTW I am still confident about his inclusion. Serie A was very limited for options which also helps here.

Irene Paredes - CB - 88 > 89 OVR

Two assists and clean sheet  /  Barcelona (W) 7 - Granadilla (W) 0  /  8 Sofascore Rating

It wouldn't be a normal week without a Barcelona hammering. This time it was seven without reply and without a clear-cut option it's up for debate as to who is included. Pina is probably the popular choice but with a lack of defensive options I am taking the punt with Paredes. With two assists and a clean sheet on paper, she is one of the best options.

Yukinari Sugawara - RB - 76 > 87 OVR

Two goals, clean sheet  /  Volendam 0 - AZ 4  /  8.5 VI Rating

There was a time when EA would simply ignore players with a squad foundation inclusion but with the game progressing into the later stages now I can’t see that being an issue. Especially when you consider that Sugawara is one of the best options this week. With VI awarding a huge 8.5 for his brace from RB the Japanese defender simply must be included.

Antoine Semenyo - RM - 70 > 87 OVR

Two goals  /  Bournemouth 4 - Luton 3  /  9 Sky Rating

A match which will be looked back upon as a pivotal moment in the relegation battle. With Luton 3-0 up at halftime, it looked as though their momentum would continue as they look to defy the odds and stay in the Premier League for next season. What unfolded in the second half was simply unimaginable. Bournemouth came out a different side, scoring four times to secure a ridiculous comeback and steal all three points. Semenyo scored the third and fourth goals, securing MOTM and most likely an IF.

Federico Valverde - CM - 88 > 90 OVR

Three assists  /  Osasuna 2 - Real Madrid 4  /  8.8 Sofascore Rating

With Girona falling off the pace significantly it looks more and more likely that Real Madrid will lift the title come the end of the season. Both Valverde and Vini Jr excelled on Saturday with three assists and two goals retrospectively. I would expect Valverde to receive the IF, making it his third 90-rated card of the game.

Fred - CDM - 81 > 87 OVR

Two goals  /  Trabzonspor 2 - Fenerbahce 3  /  8.5 Sofascore Rating

A five-goal spectacle played out in Turkey between Trabzonspor and Fenerbahce on Sunday with an unlikely hero occurring. Fred scored both the first and second goals before Batshuayi then secured all three points late on. With Fred being a popular name I expect him to get the nod over a couple of other mentionable players this week.

Jamal Musiala - LM - 86 > 87 OVR

Two goals  /  Darmstadt 2 - Munich 5  /  Kicker POTW

Playing in an unusual wide role Musiala still managed to excel. The youngster is among the best talents in the world right now with Germany offensively looking dangerous for the next decade now. Musiala’s brace helped Munich towards a comfortable win as they look to at least put a little pressure on Leverkusen’s dominant season.

Kylian Mbappe - LW - 91 > 93 OVR

Three goals, one assist  /  Montpellier 2 - PSG 6  /  9 L’equipe Rating

Both Mbappe and Vitinha received the elusive 9-match rating from L’equipe this week but when it comes to the IF there's only one candidate in truth. Mbappe ran the show against Montpellier as PSG held no remorse. The Frenchman scored three and assisted another all while playing down the left wing.

Viktor Gyokeres - ST - 75 > 87 OVR

Three goals, one assist  /  Sporting 6 - Boavista 1  /  10 Sofascore Rating

After winning eleven of their last twelve league fixtures Sporting now sits at the top of the Liga Portugal table. Their latest win came via a convincing 6-1 at home to Boavista from which their talisman Gyokeres continued to claim headlines. His latest treble now takes him to 22 goals in 24 appearances.

Robert Lewandowski - ST - 90 > 92 OVR

One goal, two assists  /  Atletico Madrid 0 - Barcelona 3  /  9 Sofascore Rating

Lewandowski picked up his first IF in TOTW 1, twenty six weeks later it looks as though a second is on the way. Barcelona dispatched Atletico Madrid with ease on Sunday. Lewan was involved in all three of those goals, assisting both the first and third while scoring the second himself.

Marco Bizot - GK - 76 > 85 OVR

Seven saves  /  Brest 1 - Lille 1  /  8 L’equipe Rating

It’s been a few weeks since we have seen two keepers selected by EA after a run of consecutive sides. I feel with the number of goalkeeping options this week two is a must. Bizot excelled between the sticks for Brest as they battled their way to a 1-1 draw with Lille.

Florian Lejeune - CB - 77 > 85 OVR

Goal and clean sheet  /  Vallecano 2 - Betis 0  /  8.2 Sofascore Rating

There were several defensive options from La Liga this weekend with very little to choose between them. With all being lower-rated options I would only expect to see one and I have taken the punt on Lejeune. The Frenchman scored one of Vallecano’s two as they upset Betis.

Sjoeke Nusken - CAM - 80 > 85 OVR

Two goals  /  Chelsea (W) 3 - Arsenal (W) 1  /  8.8 Sofascore Rating

With both Arsenal and Chelsea level on points at the top of the Women's Super League this match meant a great deal to both. It was the hosts who ended up running away with it. A Nusken double from CAM ended up being the decisive factor.

Omari Hutchinson - CAM - 64 > 85 OVR

Two goals, one assist  /  Ipswich 6 - Sheffield Wednesday 0  /  9.8 Sofascore Rating

As the Championship promotion race heats up newly promoted Ipswich Town continue to stay in the race with the big three. While the Tractor Boys have been snubbed time and time again by EA surely now is the time that they receive their first IF of the season. Omari Hutchinson, the star boy on loan from Chelsea continues to impress during his loan spell. Coming off the back of a POTM award the talented midfielder put in his best display of the season with two goals and one assist during the romp. A name to remember

Lois Openda - ST - 82 > 87 OVR

Two goals  /  Koln 1 - Leipzig 5  /  Kicker TOTW

There were only a couple of realistic options from Germany this week thus I expect both to be included. Openda scored twice during an impressive 5-1 away win over Koln. Hat tricks were extremely limited this week so those with two goals stand a higher chance than normal weeks.

Giovana Queiroz - CAM - 71 > 85 OVR

Hat trick  /  Villarreal (W) 1 - Madrid (W) 4  /  9.5 Sofascore Rating

Concluding the side we have a duo of Brazilian strikers. The first coming from Liga F with Queiroz scoring three of Madrid’s four during their convincing away win. It was a well-needed victory as they continue their quest to snatch a Champions League qualification spot.

Rodrigo Muniz - ST - 69 > 85 OVR

Two goals  /  Fulham 3 - Tottenham 0  /  9 Sky Rating

Fulham brought their A game on Saturday, making light work of heavy favourites Tottenham. Muniz has been snubbed of an IF on a couple of occasions but with a reduced fixture list alongside the Brazilian being the best PL option this week, I would be hugely surprised to see another snub come Wednesday.
