FUT 23 Ambassadors Ratings Revealed

The FIFA 23 Ambassadors have had their ratings revealed, and there are already plenty of talking points, let’s dive into them.

Kylian Mbappé - 91 OVR - ST

The cover star Kylian Mbappe, as expected has been given another monster card in FUT 23. Pace, power, skills, prolific goal-scoring ability, it’s going to be another year of Mbappé dominance.

Virgil Van Dijk - 90 OVR - CB

+3 Pace for Van Dijk and a +1 overall boost from FIFA 22 is at least a little crumb of comfort for Liverpool fans following their disappointing start to this year.

Son Heung-Min - 89 OVR - LW

Son remains largely unchanged heading into FUT 23, still at an 89 rating, however, he does receive a +2 shooting boost, making him even more of a threat in front of goal with an expected 5* Weak Foot.

Vinícius Júnior - 86 OVR - LW

Possibly the most exciting upgrade we’ve seen so far, Vinicius Jr. gets a huge +6 boost, including a jump to 79 Shooting. How much are we thinking for the Brazilian in FUT 23?

Pedri - 85 OVR - CM

Barcelona’s wonderkid midfielder Pedri is certainly following in the footsteps of Xavi & Iniesta, however, for an 85-rated card, there have been some question marks over his card stats.

João Félix - 84 OVR - CF

An exciting starter option this year, João Félix’s 84-rated card has been boosted in all the key areas, with boosts to Pace, Dribbling, Passing & Shooting. With 5* Skills likely, he looks like a superb attacking option.

Alphonso Davies- 84 OVR - LB

Davies certainly appears to be one of the go-to LBs this year, with a +2 OVR boost to an 84, alongside +3 Dribbling, +1 Defending, +2 Physical & a significant +6 Passing upgrade.

Jack Grealish - 84 OVR - LW

The £100m man remains at an 84 OVR this year, with no significant stat boosts to note. With a potential CAM secondary position though, Grealish could be a tricky playmaker early on.

Kai Havertz - 84 OVR - CAM 

Havertz also remains at an 84 OVR this year, and may also be someone that FUT players target for their early Premier League teams.

Federico Valverde - 84 OVR - CM

Oh my does Valverde stand out as a crucial early-game midfielder. A +1 boost to an 84, coupled with small Pace, Passing & Defending upgrades will make him a truly desirable player in the early stages of FUT 23.

Jude Bellingham - 84 OVR - CM

Another significant boost for Jude Bellingham as he continues to impress for Dortmund. +5 his upgrade this year, and large increases all around with +4 Dribbling, +6 Shooting, +2 Defending, +5 Passing and +3 Physical will make the Englishman abroad a superb midfielder in FIFA 23.

Dušan Vlahović - 84 OVR - ST

Vlahović receives a +6 OVR boosts to an 84 in FIFA 23 following an impressive first year at Juventus. 85 Shooting and his 6’3” frame could make him an exciting target man in Serie A teams early on this year.

Christian Pulisic - 82 OVR - LW

The LeBron James of Soccer, a.k.a. Pulisic has had his rating revealed, maintaining his 82 OVR from last year, with no significant stat changes to note.

New FUT 23 Icons Ratings Revealed

The 3 New FUT 23 Icons have been announced, with Gerd Muller leading the line, along with Jairzinho & Xabi Alonso also confirmed.

Gerd Müller - 89, 92 & 94 OVR - ST

Leading the line as the headline addition in the pool of Icons available in FUT 23, Gerd Müller brings to the table prolific goal-scoring ability as the all-time leading Bundesliga goal scorer.

Jairzinho - 88, 90 & 92 OVR - RW

Another Brazilian is bringing even more South American flair to FIFA 23 Ultimate Team, with Jairzinho to be released. With 5* Skill Moves expected, alongside pace, power and a threatening presence in front of goal, we’re predicting him to be hugely popular this year.

Xabi Alonso - 87, 89 & 90 OVR - CDM

Such an elegant but dominant midfielder, Xabi Alonso is a true icon of the game and is very deserving of his place in the Icon Class of FIFA 23. The FUT Community appears to be somewhat disappointed with his card stats, with lower-than-expected passing, do you agree?
