Standout Young Talents

While a lot of the players in this list are lower-end gold cards, there are a few young talents worth mentioning that could get into your FUT 23 Starter Squads.

Jude Bellingham - 84 OVR

While not being the highest-rated U21 player this year, just behind Pedri, Jude Bellingham has certainly been catching the eyes of FUT players. With all stats above 75, great dribbling, and also standing at 6’1”, we’re expecting the Dortmund wunderkind to have a very good year in FUT.

Alphonso Davies - 84 OVR

We continue the Bundesliga theme with Alphonso Davies, who with 94 Pace and stats perfectly suited for both defensive and attacking full-back roles should be used plentifully in the FUT 23 cycle.

Joško Gvardiol - 81 OVR

We’ll move on to new leagues shortly, I promise! Nevertheless, Gvardiol has to receive a mention for a top-quality starting CB for Leipzig, possessing 82 Pace, 80 Defending & 83 Physical, making for a superb starting option.

Rodrygo - 81 OVR

Moving on, while there might be more exciting Brazilians from Real Madrid, Rodrygo should be mentioned for people starting their FUT 23 journey. As an attacking player, 88 Pace, 84 Dribbling & 76 Shooting looks like more than adequate stats, and with 4* Skills & 4* Weak Foot to be expected, he’ll be a tricky starter winger to defend against.

Nuno Mendes - 80 OVR

The Ligue 1 has historically been a tricky league to utilise when it comes to left-sided fullbacks, however, Nuno Mendes fills that gap nicely this year, with many people potentially eyeing up that PSG link for Chemistry purposes.

Jurrien Timber - 80 OVR

FUT Players love a little hybrid that utilises different leagues outside of the Top 5, and Timber looks like he could fit into squads perfectly. Ajax & Eredivisie links are always sought after early on, and with the Dutchman receiving 82 Pace & 81 Defending + Physical, he looks like a superb early pick.

William Saliba - 80 OVR

The Premier League is always a desirable league to build a squad around early in FUT due to its popularity, and William Saliba could be an early option that FUT Players gravitate to, with high 70s in Pace & Physical, along with 80 Defending.

Jeremie Frimpong - 80 OVR

The Bundesliga is certainly looking like an exciting avenue to explore early on this year, and the right-back spot may be filled adequately by Frimpong. A whopping 94 Pace that’s accompanied by 83 Dribbling might account for slightly lower Defending & Physical stats to make him a solid early shout.
